Here's how I think the games will play out:

Scrap Station- MVP wins by a combo of banshee and methodical tank push MVP 1:0 MKP

Metalopolis- Long epic game with all bases taken. MKP will catch a key moment when MVP is unseiging (maybe with some ghost/nuke play anyone?) and stim in for the win. MVP 1:1 MKP

Xel'Naga Caverns - Similar to MKP vs. Jinro......MKP will win with numerous flanks. MVP 1:2 MKP

Blistering Sands - MKP will try a fast stim rush which is blocked by MVP, strong tank push 3 min. later kill MKP. MVP 2:2 MKP

Shakuras Plateau - A 3 base macro game. Ends with base trading and MKP winning.
MVP 2:3 MKP

Lost Temple - MVP tries a rush drop which MKP barely holds. He later remasses up his army for a front and back two pronged attack and wins. MVP 2:4 MKP

Yes, I'm biased towards MKP.......sue me ; P

Difficult to choose who's going to win, going with my head on this and saying MVP. He's an all around solid and better player.. but you can never tell with MKP he could just show up and blow the door's off the place. Truly love watching his games, you just never know what your going to get.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Foxer in this thread. MvP may be the ultimate "solid, standard" player, but that doesn't mean as much against MarineKing as it would against any other Terran player. Foxer's play style is different from anyone else's, so "standard" play can only go so far against him. Plus, if both players are practicing and planning as hard as they can, Foxer's uniqueness gives him a huge edge. He can practice against plenty of people who play just like MvP but (slightly) worse, but who can MvP practice against? No one else near that level of skill plays like MKP.

Mvp a "standard" terran? Are you serious? Did you not watch his tvt's in the earlier rounds where he went for a double expansion immediately on metalopolis, never seen that before in the GSL, and also on scrap station went for a fast gold expansion, never seen that either. Hardly standard play there, he can do a lot of things, and he also plays like MarineKing as well with mass infantry. Maybe not every game though because he's a smart player and has a lot of builds.
MarineKing has also said that MvP is far better than he and i'd say he deserves to be favourite for this matchup.

I think MVP will win because he is simply a better player. However MKP has shown he is very hard to put down in TvT. Sadly for him MVP has 2 very recent series to dissect and if he loses to this kind of pure marine/medivac style, with a few tanks thrown in, then he absolutely deserves to lose. MVP will never lose in a pure macro game all he has to do is stop the mobility.

I feel a 4-0 for anyone is pretty unlikely. A) Because they're both absolutely high level gamers and B) because of their different styles, it is unlikely that MKP will lose all short, micro-intensive games or MVP all macro games.

Something like 4-2 MVP would be my guess. But I don't actually care, just wanna see great games.
