Err... NotSureIfSerious.gif =/
If you aren't having fun, why are you playing the game in the first place? It's not like it's "his fault" he made it into Code S, ya know.
What do you want LiveForever and san to do? Just say, 'We suck! Let's just quit! We don't deserve it!'
They got $1,500 last tournament for getting stomped.
They'll make another $1,500 this tournament for getting stomped.
If they somehow make it to the next Code S, they'll make even more.
Yeah, the system could be called out, but they both won the sets they needed to. No one can fault them for staying in and trying their best. They know they aren't probably in the Top 32 of the world, but they probably have lives outside of SC II. I know if I was in their position, I would cheese/rush as much as I could possibly do to make the amount of money they're making for themselves.

yea, honestly I stopped having fun playing it since it takes harder and harder to play the betters stats I get, dunno if I will get into masters this way

Uh....what?
Now you can't even have fun anymore when you play the game? It's JUST a job now?
What?
My mind was just totally blown, I'm not even sure if you're actually serious.
The system is designed to give players in Code S a good shot at staying there. It rewards putting in the work. They'll be gone next season, as they'll most likely both finish 4th in their group so they can't both be chosen. sanZenith might actually be able to take a game and make 3rd in his group.
I think we all more in shock of how badly Leenock botched games 2 & 3 against LiveForever. I was pulling for sanZenith there, just so he gets back a bit of respect for himself after the last few TV matches.
Maybe it was fatigue from the first match, but Leenock really didn't play up to his potential against LiveForever. Hell, if he'd just gotten the baneling nest before 10 minutes in, he probably wins one of those. Mostly game 2 as he had no forces and still almost won.

Seriously, what was going through Leenock's mind not having a baneling nest over 10 minutes into a tvz? Was really pulling for Leenock there, Liveforever in Code S just isn't right man.

If sadzenith is good enough that he can beat people and retain his code-S rank without much practice then too bad he's still code-S material.
Not to be too much of a fanboy, but I think that's an unnecessary exaggeration. Yes FD drinks, no that does not make him a drunkard. Moreover, people flame when players play badly, not because of stuff in their personal life.
Sure FD may not be performing as well as he used to, but it's not just him of the zergs that are having trouble at the moment, and it doesn't mean that he's descended into alcoholism, or that he should be flamed if he were to.
The reason SanZenith gets flak is because he is thought to be a much lower calibre player than what people expect for the GSL. Which isn't that surprising considering how much complaint there is about players like FD not getting results - and he's a champion.
Personally I'm fine with the system letting him stay in Code S, and in a way it is good that more casual players can qualify, though I expect this will change as the game gets older.

You know what else is awesome? The winner of code A next time is going to pick both of them and one is gonna get into yet another season of code S.
Wow ... just wow... like this LiveForever might actually live in Code S forever since he will always be matched with the other worst Code S player ... mind = blown
omg I never though about that. thats gotta be fucking akward beeing picked everytime by the Top Code A Player lols Fun Times ahead.
It doesnt work like that the code A winner picks a 3rd place and a 4th place for his group. Not two 4th places.
Six out of eight code A players made it into code S. Next season is gonna be even more badass than this one by so much just because of the improvement in players, and that's even without the massive macro-fest maps.

I fell asleep watching them from bed at 4am EST. When I woke up at 7am EST they were finishing the last match with the interview done around 7:20. Were these just really good macro games or was there some delay?
