No balance whining. 2-day temp bans will be handed out like candy. |
Really sad to see that Jinro got knocked out. Did he put up a good fight in the games he lost? Did Foxer win with Marines?
Really like the new warning strip thingy at the top of the thread. Hopefully that will improve the quality of the LR-threads.
Btw, Terran champion this season, woohoo! :D

there are really ALOOOT of terran mirrors. I'd love to see the protoss and zergs do better next season. they were mostly disappointing. have we even seen more than 3 PvPs? i dont think so

And by gas first he really means FIRST. Before the first barracs lol, ultra fast banshee proxy behind the rocks.

Ouch. Foxer really switching things up, eh?
Can't wait to see the final, it should be great. Two fantastic players.

I honestly believe that it could have been different if Jinro had gotten more ATK upgrades for his siege tanks since they were facing +3 marines, the splash damage became far from effective.

You do realise that no matter what schedule they use, SOMEONE in the world is gonna be watching it at an inconvenient time? The Code S Semi-finals were at 2:00PM KST, that's like Midnight or something in the states though (which is where most of the complaints originate). Pretty reasonable for a Saturday night!

Game 2 was Jinros game but he miss micro his marines leaving them behind and losse 2 tanks on the ramp = (

Man, I hate watching TvT.. but at least there will be a T, Z, and P winner
|
TvT is one of the more interesting, lengthy, and dynamic matches in the game especially when the styles are asymmetric which we'll have thanks to MKP. Needless to say I'm looking forward to some crazy antics.
I'm also looking forward to twenty+ pages of balance QQ in the TvT finals.

the balance qq will be great. "what chance does protoss or zerg have to win gsl4!?!?! terran representation is at 100% now! CLEARLY IMBA."
|
interviews are on gomtv site, then gomcam

As much as I am biased because I wanted so badly for Jinro to win, MKP showed very strong play. Each game was fairly long, and the outcomes for a few were quite close. MKP showed during this Bo5 the kind of diversity I have been wanting to see from him ever since he hit it big in Season 2. I used to think MKP would fall out of notoriety the moment someone "figured him out", I now have faith that if someone works out how to counter his marine heavy armies he will adjust to accommodate.
Overall a really great set of matches, my only fault with them is that Jinro didn't win

GomTV made the following comment in that thread after you posted this:
You can check the match schedule on Schedule page. Those Live time will be modified soon. Sorry for your inconveninece. Thanks.
I thought they said they would be, and the schedule looked like it was this morning, then there were some conflicting answers. Tbh, I think the up/down matches, especially oGsTop and Byun should be good .

Anyone have a weird feeling that maybe 3-4 vikings would have turned the game on Xel'naga Caverns in Jinros favor? MKP was stimming the shit out of his marines because he had a ton of medevacs to heal them. If he lost the ability to stim so much, his army wouldn't have been as mobile and Jinro could have taken the game. The vikings would also help keep MKP away from the back door entrance and cliffs as Jinro's vikings could have micro'd near cliffs and picked off Medevacs.

Vikings are slow, need to be babysit heavily, also means less tanks, and MKP was pretty much only producing medivacs/marauders with his gas so it doesn't really hurt MKP (reactored starport produces medivacs crazy quick).

Absolutely terrifying just how effective MKP's bio was against the tank lines. 10-15 tanks? NP. BADABOOM says the marauder marine squad @_@ acceptable losses!!
