Really, when jinro attacked first time he saw the CC flying, I guess he's under pressure right now and that's why he didn't thought the CC could fly to the gold...too bad as 4 marines could'have won jinro the game here.

- yeh that was total luck on MVP's part. jinro is the best he cannot lose unless the opponent gets lucky.

*he didnt make any mistakes* and MKP's gold was just luck. -

i can understand being fans and cheering for the foreigner but some of these comments are ridiculous.

Totally agree with this. I can't help but cheer for both players in this matchup, they are so good.

I'm a bit disappointed this far with MKP's mistakes in game 1 and Jinro's in game 2. Hopefully we'll see a long, epic, close game.

Jinro has been doing the same builds as oGsTop did in the Code A finals. The strategies are clearly jointly developed by the terrans in the oGs-Liquid house.

Actually, Top executed the builds much better. Or rather, the opponent was not as good.

I don't think he'd worry about "reputation" in this big of a match. If he wanted to do that, he could in an early round against a weak opponent. I'm 100% sure he's doing what he feels gives him the best chance of victory.

Also, his micro is really good. His Medi micro during drops in some games earlier this season was phenomenal, and his banshee in game 1 was amazing.

Taking the gold is not luck, but a calculated maneuver. Usually at that time you wouldn't think of scouting the gold, since you would be too busy trying keep contain. Just smart play all around

Jinro lost because of 2 thing. First is the hidden expo. Second is his push up to mkp's ramp. Should have siege one by one instead of walk his tank right into mkp's base

MKP did what was necessary to win, as basically his only other option was to break his contain cost efficiently, and that probably wasn't going to happen. Having the gold base made that a non-issue.

Recap:

Jinro opens with a classic strategy, fast siege push and proxies a barrack which he floats to spot for his tanks. Mk was briefly contained, but managed to sneak in an expansion at his gold which gave him a large lead into the mid game. Despite some careful positional play by Jinro, MK overpowers him with a superior force and evens the series 1-1.
