I must honestly say that the observer is getting much better. I was a hater at first but I must take it back, he improved a lot over such a short period of time. Theres still things he could improve but im very happy with todays matches observing.
Regarding the matches, i was hoping for leenock to advance instead of rainbow. But i gotta hand it to rainbow for pretty much outplaying leenock in that one game. Would have been more interesting to see a bo3 between the two to really see whos better. Genious is a real genious though and i can see him go really far this season.

Yeah, hes improving...which is all that matters. I was getting annoyed too at first, but really anyone can observe if they're remotely intelligent. So it's good to see he/she picks things up fast.
Real shame that both Leenock and Ret got knocked out so early on. so 3 of the 5 best zergs in the world have been knocked out already. Though I'm not including July in that group because I don't know where he is atm or when he's due to play.
It seems a bit generous to include Ret and Leenock in top 5 considering there's Nestea, FD, Check, Idra, Kyrix, Zenio, July, Sen and even IMJunwiPirme. Well I suppose since it's impossible to rank most of them currently, it's not that unreasonable. Leenock seems overrated though as all we've seen him play well only a few times, he has 52% winrate after 2500+ games and hasn't performed very well in other events.
e: err, I now realize I misread your post and you didn't mean they were necessarily top 5

I'd say FruitDealer, Nestea, Zenio, IdrA and July are better than Leenock and Ret...
whats happening to all the zergs -.- GSL1 all over again? i just hope nestea isn't the only one advancing Kyrix and Leenock are top zergs I'm not surprise that anypro is last Was hoping for genius and leenock tho but rainbow played really well

The group that had the most zergs were in group B. Unfortunately for them, MVP was in the same group

From when Ret became one of the best zergs in the world?

I think build time reduction will be more helpful. I've been always curious why a defensive structure that has the least possibility of being abused offensively takes longest to build. And despite being a P (trying to learn Z lately, but probably shouldn't, lol), I hope these early cannons will be nerfed by either increased Forge build time or cannon build time. Sick and tired of cannons in PvP when I want to play some real games.
Honestly I think its only NesTea... [a gap]... then the rest of the Zergs. My hopes for the future are on July... hopefully we'll see him in code S soon.
Not surprisingly ret is out quickly. I know idra and artosis love to talk about this guy, but it still seems he has a ton of issues playing in the spotlight or under immense pressure. I think he will be lucky to qualify for code A again next season.
I wonder if Ret has some nerve issues. Oh well, it's sad to see him lose his Code A so quickly. He had a fairly bad bracket too, with Cezanne and Loner both being quite good. Hopefully he can get his code A back in the prelims (or by invite) and then get code S for GSL 6.
