Someone made a post yesterday saying that if players win 2-0 then they are through and it's over. MVP and Zenio won 2-0, no? So why were more matches played other than possibly fruitdealer vs jook to settle the 3rd versus 4th place?

Well, but he lost so it just means that his opponents played better. I still think FD can do it again though he probably needs better practice partners.

Would've probably been better in his situation to lose against Zenio to avoid a TvT and instead play a TvZ, but it would seem rather selfish at the same time.

Now I'm curious to know where that info has been released. I haven't been up to date with GOM past christmas or so but I haven't seen any post on GOM (and forums) saying how the groups are arranged in the 2nd groupstage. On January 04 2011 01:14 SubtleArt wrote: CAn someone explain what the last game was for? I understand this is like the MSL format except theres an extra game to determine first and second place rather than just who advances, but won't the last game always be between two people who are knocked out regardless? Seems silly. Also, FRUITDEALER D: 3rd place decider is to determine who gets 2 chances of staying in Code S. 4th place will only have 1 chance. Each chance / match is a Bo3 in the relegation matches.

Sadly, Clide is not good enough to train with. The only zerg with good practise partners are those in IM and Prime. Clide is certainly good, but against him fruitdealer will win battles that he'll lose against MVP or MK, so he could get a false sense of security imo. But I saw TSL recruited aLive, and he has a very strong vZ, it'll be good for fruitdealer. And with Tester and Sangho, aLive could become a monster.

I would assume that there will be some sore or random placement, yet make it so there are 2 1st place and 2 2nd place in each group.

Someone fucking tell him that A) He sucks at all-ins B) He's far better off(and more skilled) at playing macro games than going all-in C) Zerg is the worst/weakest race possible to all-in with I got nothing to say about that game vs MVP, I don't think any Zerg can win close position LT vs him, but there was no excuse for that game vs Zenio. I thought he was Idra's ZvZ practice partner ![]() FD is leaving a hole in my fruity heart http://www.carameldream.net/fruitheart.jpg
