It's important to note that slush was being very aggresive when blur was pushing in. He probably thought he needed as many units as he can produce to just handle the counter aggression and judging by how close some of those battles went, he wasn't totally wrong.

I may be wrong but I think its because they dont' want to change their names and sponsors (most that I know) will want the team to change their name. I could be wrong because I know lesser teams that got sponsored and don't have root's reputation so thats the only explanation I can think off but again could be wrong ^^
As for the game QXC is just playing super solid. But good qxc vs Idra will be a good series :D
