I may be wrong but I think its because they dont' want to change their names and sponsors (most that I know) will want the team to change their name. I could be wrong because I know lesser teams that got sponsored and don't have root's reputation so thats the only explanation I can think off but again could be wrong ^^

I'm pretty sure CatZ wouldn't turn down a big money sponsor just because he wanted to keep "root", unless it has some kind of sentimental value or something. but he's busting his ass to get sponsors so I don't think he would turn one down.

That being said, I still don't see why any sponsor would care, whats wrong with their name? It seems ridiculous now that their line-up is probably the strongest in NA right now that they STILL do not have a sponsor.

It's an issue with sponsors being spoiled from previous Esports that had no where near the draw of SCII. I hope Root never sells out their name, and I hope future teams follow suit, although I doubt they will.
