Yeah but people make simple mistakes all the time. I am sure they are hundreds of things you aren't 100% on that for many would consider common knowledge. The same goes for anyone else.

It seems ridiculous now that their line-up is probably the strongest in NA right now that they STILL do not have a sponsor. A lot of sponsors sell stuff and want their name to be out there not the teams name (what would the sponsor benefit from root gaming being the name if they want people to visit their website?). It makes total sense why sponsors want the team their sponsoring to be named for them. It makes sense but it's stupid and unique to mainly esports and I really hope it ends. Do you see the "FedEx Yankees" or the "Fnatic MSI Panthers"? Nope. It's an issue with sponsors being spoiled from previous Esports that had no where near the draw of SCII. I hope Root never sells out their name, and I hope future teams follow suit, although I doubt they will.
The reason why you don't see, company names on teams like the Yankees and the Panthers, is because they generate enough revenue to sustain themselves from games, paraphernalia and etc soley off their name brand "Yankees". Other sponsers are just additional income.
When it comes down to E-sports, especially Brood War in Korea for example. The team's backbone is it's main sponser. The sponser practically pays for the living costs for all the players. As seen with Estro, when it's main sponser backs out, the team dissolves. Where do you think any of the money comes from? I'm pretty sure you don't need tickets to see any of the games live, and if you did, it certainly wouldn't cost any where near how much tickets cost at a baseball/hockey/basketball/football game.
