But I personally wouldnt care if the guy who went out in RO128 who had a shot at winning. Would make one of the most epic moments I ever watched. Oh cmon man. Admins should really clean this shit up before it gets out of hand. I dont wanna say anything cause obviously im from Sweden and then it will sound like im just defending MorrwW because of that. Lets just agree its a bad situation, we'll see how it turns out i guess. But keep it down. Yeah, I can agree with that. It's a bad situation either way. But I hope you can see my point. (I see your point also) It's the admin's decision and I would say I'm comfortable with them ruling in one way or the other. My problem is with questioning the admin decision. Imagine a 128+ person tournament. But I personally wouldnt care if the guy who went out in RO128 who had a shot at winning. Would make one of the most epic moments I ever watched. Um? How is that even related or in any way relevant? That was a special case wherein winning a single tourny wouldn't garner any prizes. You had to win a series of tournies in order to get anything out of it. In that instance, morrow and sjow went straight to the admins to see whether leaving w.o. in the finals would be allowed. That behavior wouldn't really benefit anyone in an ordinary online tournament. My point is - he said it's the admins choice / job to prevent things happening they dont want to happen (which they later did in the case mentioned). Now one admin (Take) made such a decision. And it's suddenly "unfair". If you say it's the admins job of preventing something like this happening, then you cannot complain about admins who prevent something like this happening. And I personally dont think it's important if it's happening in RO128 of <random tournament> or in a final where the winner has a chance of winning more in the tournament. It's more about princible. Ah alright. Well, ESL seems like they wish to present themselves as a serious organisation and this goes against the way practically all tournaments are run. Hopefully they'll just add it to the ruleset so at least they don't have to make these decisions in the middle of future tournaments. | ||
