Well thats not entirely true: Rains last match wasnt all-in at all. He even expanded while doing the marine/bunker push and the game also was really good with nice moves by both players. Otherwise you are correct.

It would be amazing if we got a PvP finals.
I don't think it would be liked by the viewers
viewing war of the worlds (colossi wars) 4 - 7 times in a row unless they decide to switch it up

I wonder what Blizzard thinks of such a huge percentage of TvX games being SCV all-ins.

My thoughts exactly. if anything was to be changed up, it would have to happen in a timing before the opposing protoss player gets a critical number of colossi. then it would be all-innish.

I'm so fucking happy no more Zerg!!! It;s time for Protoss baby!

Q. Terrans are doing a lot of cheese recently. A. That depends on the map and how close we are. There are maps where it's possible to block them, and maps where it is not possible to. I didn't expect to end it so fast in the last map, Xel'naga Caverns. I wanted to retreat after applying pressure, but Zerg took unexpected heavy damage
|
ok seriously.. why do i always get back in these threads to read what happened in the games.. its senseless. all i can see is qq even though theres a "mod warning" on the first page which most of the people prolly didnt even notice.

FD was so confused in those game, allin for 3 last game, threw away scrap station and LT, which is Zerg's favorite map.
|
LT is a terrible map for zerg if you get close spawns (ie. gold base is in between you) or are vulnerable to cliff abuse.
|
Dear GSL Zergs,
Stop going hatch first against Terran.
Thank you.

That just threw off the whole perception, sucks though, both Champions from previous season's facing off would be sweet to see.

Whoa? A double upset? Some people were saying this might happen... but damn! I'm particularly surprised with Rain making it through...
|
terrrible games, terrible maps, all the bad players won today, awesome.
|
Got home from work. Got some food, a big fuck off coffee, sat down at my laptop, chillin' on TL.
Halfway through replying to a random thread see Liquibet 11/1. Frown. Ignore.
Five minutes later on the toilet remember it's Monday and rush back to the laptop.
Both zerg's out? And both former champions to boot. Guess I shouldn't have underestimated HongUn, and I guess I should actually watch any of Rain's games.

I always find it hilarious when someone declares a player is "bad" even after achieving significant amount of success trough one way or another. Disagreeing with a play style is one thing but calling a semi-finalist of the GSL a bad player is pretty laughable, especially when it comes from someone who has neither his own accomplishments or analysis to back it up.
Oh and, lovely to see that the mod warning is actually stopping people from vomiting all over this thread with balance discussions. Totally.

Well, I voted Hongun so I expected this, but Rain was still a shocking victory. He's far from Foxer/MVP or Jinro's level. He has a good allin control. In fact, perhaps BBBprime would have won against FD if he hadn't just amoved his stuff. Rain did a good job microing the scvs to make a shield while kitting with the marines, but that's still a shocking result (the first real upset of the 3 GSL seasons imo)

'no way' huh? weird.. Jinro seemed to do it just fine. Lets stop with the dramatics.

True but Moon still made a lot of bad decision (like running away multiple times his 20 mutas because of one single turret :D)
