Had they not met before Jinro would have to win 2 times, worst case 3 if he lost first Bo3 1-2 while TT1 would have to win 4 no matter the outcome of first Bo3.
In the current situation Jinro have to win 2 while TT1 has to win 3 before Jinro wins 2. This cant be changed but without the extended series Jinro would in best case only have to win 2 to 4, instead of 2 to 3.
Yes. It doesn't make any sense and can't be like this... there must be something mixed up.

Come on Jinro, this is yours!!!

When is the crowd going to start doing "3-2-1 (player name) FIGHTING!" I love hearing that watching GSL. D=

Largest tour so far in Europe was won by a Swede (MorroW) and as far as I know this is the largest US tour. (Blizzcon might have been bigger? Dunno.) MorroW wasn't even supposed to play in the IEM but got a chance in the last second. Jinro doesn't even live in the US and is one of very few Europeans playing there. Kind of strange how some Swede always seems to drop in out of nowhere and win unexpectedly in the largest non korean tours This is bigger in terms of number of good players present and participating. Blizzcon had more money on the line though. Yeah that is probably true. Lets hope we get a good number of players coming to Dreamhack in a month or so to repeat the awesomeness of this weekends lineup. Will probably be the next large non korean tour.

But if the two of them hadn't met in winners bracket before Jinro would have to win 2 games to win, and TT1 would need to win 4 to win.
This is such bullshit. What? You basically just defended MLG rules.... If it wasn't extended series it would be harder for TT1, the extended series helps TT1 in this situation. How did that defend MLG? So basically the finalist of winner brackets should be praying to god for someone to win losers brackets that he hasn't played already That's not even correct. If TT1 had not taken a game off Jinro then he would have to win two straight series bo3.
Jesus, don't bitch when you don't even know what you're talking about.

You have to win more games than your opponent. The order of matches or when they take place does not matter. More games! Understand how that works? 3 is greater than 2. 4 is greater than 3. Pretty damn simple. The winner is the one who wins the most games against the other player.
Im afraid its more complex than that my dear friend....But nice starting phrase there, makes you seem intellectually superior indeed

That is wrong, no clue why you bolded. He still has a ADVANTAGE, but if he didn't face TT1 already he'd have a BIGGER advantage. He has advantage either way buddy.

I think the biggest crap is that the "GRAND FINALS" potentially could be just two freaking games. How RETARDED is that? :/

just start 0/0 with a bo7 lol no. winner of the winner bracket should have an advantage Why essentially make past wins carry over to a completely new series? because the winner of the tournament is supposed to better player and if you beat someone 2-0 to lose 1-2 later i'm sorry but you're still the better player according to results. Extended series are good, dunno what's hard to understand in this concept, people are just way too biased towards tyler losing to PU cause of this Rofl I've had to deal with extended series in SSBM for 4 years, they suck.
If you both get to the same game in the loser's bracket, you're both EQUAL. The other player having an advantage is nonsensical garbage.
Also, if you do the extended series, the grand finals should have an extended series to start, and after that the LB player should have to win yet another Bo3. Otherwise it makes no sense. Yes, this grand final format makes zero sense.

How is making one player have to win more games in a finals because the other player won more before he got there good or fair? The finals should be their own thing all together.
