To be honest Plexa, I think it would be reasonable and totally fine. They are kind of on the same team, why wouldn't they help out each other. Not saying InCa dropped the game, but it would make sense nonetheless.

Its insulting to InCa, Nony and also offending towards other players running a fair competition.. but we've seen other stuff in the past.

Of course something like this is always possible, but there's absolutely no reason to suspect it in this case other than them being on the same team (and they aren't really anyway). I'd understand these speculations more if the game had be suspicious in any way, but it was a completely standard PvP.
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

This way, we get to see each player play everybody else in their group and makes it more interesting. It also helps weed out the weak players because they can't get lucky by matching up against another weak player.

Well, there are 32 players right? For BO3 from the start it would take ages. Think how long GSL takes (though GSL does have a Ro64 and becomes BO5 afterwards), and that's from a long running well developed tournament that should have few technical problems etc.

Dreamhack would have to be a lot longer or the set up changed to something like MLG. I like the Dreamhack set up with players on stage and an audience, but perhaps the games would be better if selected games were on stage and casted with some other games going on simultaneously elsewhere.

Not to mention if Tyler lost it would have been rematches for the tiebreaker anyway and I'm sure Tyler would have confidence in his ability to get through that. So really it makes no sense and is just a very big insult to Tyler and Inca

Stream always becomes messy for some part of the people when there is many viewers. I have a theory that the later you join, the worse it is.

Er.. not sure that's actually possible. He's actually aware of the problem.

Same here, I haven't seen any lag at all on TB's stream. Been watching for three hours.

He's talking about some hardware problems, which is frame-rates, not lag.

My stream is perfect too actually, which is surprising to be honest cause I normally get some lag on almost every stream I go to.

bo3 probably would make the tournament too long? who knows....

There are 15000 computers in the place, surely they could play more groups simultaneously. Sure that would mean less games casted but I'd have that over this BO1 any day.

hey, i wish all these matches were BO7 lol... just so there's more SC2 to watch... what they need is more casters, preferably 1 pair of caster per group ^_^, then i could have all 8 streams going at once and just watch the best matchups.

Personally I think the most watch-able format is double-elimination with BO3, but I don't think this league system isn't as bad as people make out. At the end of the day the ones that have gone out have done because they lost more then they won.

Its not like they are losing 1 BO1 and getting eliminated.

except for poor bischu who went 2-1 into a threeway tie which ended draw (all 3 guys going 1-1 in the tiebreaker), and then got eliminated by coinflip.

which is like the biggest bullshit ever...

You do know even the biggest sport in the world, soccer, has scenarios where a match can be decided by a coin flip even in big tournaments?

Erm no...

Give 1 example
Fifa World Cup (Soccer)

No winner ever got decided by a coinflip in that...

So what you talking about?
