except for poor bischu who went 2-1 into a threeway tie which ended draw (all 3 guys going 1-1 in the tiebreaker), and then got eliminated by coinflip.

which is like the biggest bullshit ever...

You do know even the biggest sport in the world, soccer, has scenarios where a match can be decided by a coin flip even in big tournaments?

Erm no...

Give 1 example
Fifa World Cup (Soccer)

No winner ever got decided by a coinflip in that...

So what you talking about?

He asked in what other sport there are coinflip rules, he asked one exemple of such sport, I give one, that's all.

We've already had this discussion in the thread, and yes it happened in 1990. Still stupid not to play additional tiebreakers, by the way the EPS Nordic CS semi-final which also took place at DH had a quadruple overtime on the second map. It ended 36-33 in mtws favour over fnatic, (15-15, 5-5, 5-5, 5-5, 6-3)

To be honest Plexa, I think it would be reasonable and totally fine. They are kind of on the same team, why wouldn't they help out each other. Not saying InCa dropped the game, but it would make sense nonetheless.

Its insulting to InCa, Nony and also offending towards other players running a fair competition.. but we've seen other stuff in the past.

According to the brackets i saw on TB stream Inca will play TOP because he lost to Tyler. In light of that its unreasonable.

I don't see why everybody is complaining about the group setup. THE PLAYER IS NOT KNOCKED OUT IF HE LOSES ONE GAME!!!

This way, we get to see each player play everybody else in their group and makes it more interesting. It also helps weed out the weak players because they can't get lucky by matching up against another weak player.

Well, take for example ActionJesus vs Lucifron. Had it been a BO3 Actionjesus would have won the first, but Lucifron probably wouldn't have fallen for the same thing and could very possibly have advanced.

I don't think the "It's a BO3 but the player changes" argument is valid. The player changing makes all the difference, it changes the whole scenario. You still are determining that one player should advance to the next round over another from one match between them.

Now, this wouldn't be as bad if the pool was bigger, and there were more than four people in each group, as the amount of games played by each player would increase and the likelihood of the better players advancing would increase. Players would also be disinclined to cheese as much, which is I think causing a lot of the complaints.

fanboy logic ftw, eh? cmon

What fanboy? Doesn't even make sense at all. If I could help out a teammate by throwing a game, I'd do so. Now please explain where the fanboy logic is in this one? I'm not particular a fan of NonY nor of InCa. I just think both are cool players.

even ur nick suggests ur a fanboy - in general. lol naruto. u happy lil' ninja boy`?
