There pretty much is only one possibility and that's when two teams finish on the same points in the group stage of the world cup with the same goal difference and the same number of goals scored with the match between the teams finish in a draw. So far it's never happened, although a game in the fifties or sixties was decided by a coinflip when the floodlights failed or something along those lines. | ||
