Winning against Idra in a straight standard game might have been too difficult for ChickenCombo. I think cheesing is a legit strategy when you're in his position. I agreed with this statement during the MLG when ajtls used cheese play/map advantages against IdrA. The two aren't in the same ballpark with skill. However, you'd think with how competitive this GSL was, and some of the big names/talented players that DIDN'T qualify that if you did manage to make it this far you would have the skill to at least attempt to play 1 game straight up and see if you can hang. I guess I was just expecting the gap in skill in the RO64 to have closed greatly from season 1 to 2, but perhaps just not the case. I was just mostly assuming that because of the number of quality players that didn't qualify but maybe a lot were just knocked out by cheese play like that. | ||
