I dont understand why they dont put the players ID up there, too. Would be so much easier to follow for all the non Koreans who show their interest in GSL

blaaargh, artosis is so much fun when he plays on tv :/ moon - well, there goes another legend (after grrr); really, expecting wonders of those folks is almost like expecting mj to win a baseball cup

Sorry everyone, it was GoStop, not OgsTop -.-
Updated the OP.

Feel free to copy paste this list and add more if you know.
Wait, what? Top didn't make it? He was arguably the best Terran in the last GSL when you consider he was the closest to beating Cool, essentially throwing away the third game in their series. Who knocked him out O_O
Edit: Nevermind, I should've picked up on this mistake

I totally cool with that though, its a Korean things after all. We are just the curious neighbour :D

Read like one post above you ^^

Is there anyway to get a "westernized" bracket that shows the qualified players' paths to ro64? Would be interesting to see who knocked out who.

TLO will join 'em after RO64 Hope he succeeds though.. But seriosly, only idra can make it to ro16 or ro8 as a foreigner..

Edit: woops, don't panic! GoStop, not OgsTop

Better people joined GSL #2, I'd argue in GSL #3 we'll only see 1 or 2 foreigners. Korean players are just a step above. :x
|
Such a shame that the swedish additions to liquid aren't playing in the ro64, but I have faith in you guys. You can do it! I want to see you in the next GSL :D!

Oh well, as long as Cool gets through to Ro64 he'll have a huge following.

so thats why lyn didn't perform during the wcg =p
sad for moon and artosis though =(
|
hey, if you took the % of foreigners vs % of koreans who are trying to qualify, im sure foreigners would have the better odds!
|
yea it's rather dissapointing to see such a monumental lack of foreign talent. During SCBW years it seemed everyone have dreamed about the chance to go to Korea and become a pro but when the opportunity presents itself noone goes for it.

Some people get a very tough bracket, others get a Bye and weak opponents. So yeah, even when there are more pros participating, it doesn't mean it will be harder to qualify. Luck can help a lot.

Koreans arent a step above. Theres just so many more of them. Only TLO and Idra of the top westerners are represented, and one of them has already qualified.
