Sad that Jinro didn't make it again let's just hope TLO has good group...
btw, was HuK supposed to participate in GSL2? If yes, does it mean he will play his games at IEM and then immediately flight to Korea to participate in the last day of qualifiers?
yea and I'd really love to see DeMuslim take part in this

Oh right, I wasn't counting Loner. In that case, we'll probably only see 3 non-Koreans in GSL#2.

Doesn't seem like there have been a lot of BIG names so far in Day 1 of qualifiers. That makes me scared for Day 2..

It's easier to dream about it. You can't just leave everything and fly to korea. Unless maybe you are rich in the begin with and have no personal life.

Who are going to play in TLO's gruop?
Fruitseller is in it i suppose ?

to be honest, i think its more because the GSL was announced so suddenly. It has only been about 2 months since the game was released and who would expect such a big-scale tournament to be held so fast.
Moving to another country takes a lot of preparation and thinking in advance. 3 months or so at least. You need to take care of your current study/work, accomodation, sponsors, family, girlfriends , etc.
By next year, i am sure more and more foreigners will be more prepared to move to Korea. Sadly, the competition will be much harder as well. Kind of a pity because the first few GSL should be a lot more easier to qualify and win than next year ones.

oh damn it moon. Just lost 50% of my interest in gsl2

No HuK will be in for GSL3 not 2 afaik.

And abouting seeding, this a preseason. Its purpose is to be fully open and to establish seed for the coming events. Seeding now would defeat the tournaments purpose. If your smart and truly better than the other player your going to play extremely safe and scout like crazy, giving some economy at the start but since your better, your still going to win...

I think he meant that Cool got an auto-seed into GSL2, which is not the case. I really think the top4 from season 1 should've been seeded to season 2.

Top4 of GSL#1 are already qualified afaik.

I dont understand why they dont put the players ID up there, too. Would be so much easier to follow for all the non Koreans who show their interest in GSL Has always be like this in Korea, they address players by there name. I totally cool with that though, its a Korean things after all. We are just the curious neighbour :D I know that it has always been like that but until SC2 and GSl they didnt care too much about foreigners at all. Afiak Gom said, that they want to make the tournament more foreigner friendly. This would be a nice addition imo

Google Chrome translating:
TLO offered the same question in an interview. Q: 1.2 patch is a feeling? A: Now, let's Zerg. (Laughter)

Some new posts on the GSL someone translate them.

Of course there are certain logistic issues behind it but we have already seen several pros move to a different country for longer period of time for much less money(Cloud, Naniwa, Demuslim).
|
Well but going from italy (cloud), sweden (naniwa) and uk (demuslim) to germany is a lot easier. Depending on where exactly you are its like 2-3 hour flight or you could also go by train or car. And since all of the countries are in the european union its generally a lot easier.
