am i only one who think ensnare is going to win?

Ensnare is the better player, but ITR's timings are so good it's a toss up. 3-1 Ensnare

What, they could not have spared him a couple of hundred dollars? He tried.

I envision some Munday Funday TvT here lolz
Epic games should be epic.
|
two of the best korean terrans in the world against each other. theres gunna be some awesome tvts =p i predict its going to be 3-1 rainbow cause i think rainbow is no doubt the stronger player but ensnare will probably have something hiding up his sleeve

Anyone else hoping this will last more than three hours?

Did everyone actually get all their money for this tournament? I know CPL and Munoz are terrible at prize support which makes me sad in my eSports pants.
oh but anyways.. GO ITR... but wish it was Tester so we could have saw an epic PvZ finale.
|
Damn, how am I supposed to go to sleep tonight? I have to get up early in the morning so I can't watch them live, but the anticipation's gonna pretty much kill me...
I really have to say that I hope Rainbow can take out Ensnare here. A Fruitdealer vs Rainbow final will be worth staying up for.
|
Anyone know the prize pool for this tourney? I only heard them say $20,000 for 2nd.
|
The CPL were supposed to hold a 1,000,000 dollar halo 3 tournament with a 275 $ entry fee per person in Dallas Texas in 2007.. It ended up being a disaster and CPL died shortly after(2008), most of the people I know that placed have not been paid, and as far as I know are still in court... was quite a joke

I really hope that HopeTorture(IntoTheRainbow) wins, he's such a baller
|
I want to be fair here and say Ensare has a good chance of winning, but he was up against some pretty easy opponents in his bracket. He rushed HongUn (who played terribly that round) with those helion/MM pushes to win and outside of that he hasn't really beaten anybody noteworthy.
ITR on the other hand beat fucking TESTER. Yeah they practice together a lot and Tester goofed a couple things he should have done better with, but he's fucking TESTER. I think ITR has a very strong TvT anyway. Hell, ITR is all around pretty damn awesome.
I was really hoping Tester would beat ITR so we could have him play Cool in the finals, that would have been a bad ass macro battle. I'm just glad there won't be a TvT final. FRUITDEALER FIGHTING!!!!
|
I think it will go 3-2 and I don't know which direction. Lots of people underrating Ensnare IMO. For example FruitDealer said he's more afraid of Ensnare cause he trains more and is more solid.
|
3-1 Ensnare.
That guy is so baller. Didn't ITR say he's not comfortable playing Ensnar?
|
the handsome series, rainbow vs ensnare. TvT though zzZzz
|
Ensnare has not played any Terran's this GSL? At first I thought that would be a disadvantage. But seeing as he has TL and oGs to train against, it could be an advantage. Didn't have to show one ounce of his build so far.
Also, both have 100% win rates? :s Holy check! The real top players in this tournament are just beastly...
To quote Cool:
I think l have a better chance if I face Sung-jae hyung (Rainbow). Ensnare practices a lot, but Rainbow is similar to me: he enjoys playing the game, and takes it less seriously. I'm a bit more scared of facing Ensnare. You could actually read this both ways. 1) I'm more scared of facing Ensnare, so I think he's the better player... 2) Ensnare practices a lot, but ITR is more like me, a natural monster with awesome abilities...
I'm thinking it's going to be quite close. Before the RO8 I would've set my money on Ensnare. Now it seems like it could go either way
|
Please to be Rainbow vs Cool in finals...
also thank you for cutting off the balance whining, really drags a thread down
