Cant wait for the games!
With no P advancing to the semis I am going to root for Cool today. non-mirror in the finals would be nice
And ITR vs Cool in the finals would be even more awesome

I wanna see a TvZ final!!! otherwise if only T's are left Im not even going to be bothered watching the finals.
Terran in particular is a notoriously strong race for a no brain skillhand bot style.

Cool hwaiting! I have a feeling I will base my ZvT tactics for the next week solely on these games (and hopefully the final of course!)

I sort of agree with the predictions, although I think Cool will take Scrap Station with some hatch first build. Then it will be a matter of how well he can multitask to fend of the inevitable drops...
LT I expect Thor drop and LiveForever to take it.
Kulas I expect some sort of nonesense from Cool, either an all-in or some early gold macro something.

If Cool wins the first 2 maps he should be fine. If he drops one of those then he could be in trouble heading into Kulas and LT.

With that said, I think he's by far the better player and should be able to pull out the win.

From the state of the game right now LiveForever has the slight advantage. But I still think Cool's experience will give him the edge in this series.

So let's start the Cool puns people... XD

Speaking of GSL yesterday, did anyone play ladder against zerg and experience a few 6pools?

If he doesnt win both of the first 2 games he's in for a long long evening.
Sadly he already used of his trump cards in the quarters.
Should be quite a close matchup , but Cool is so Cool I believe he can pool through.

I agree that there should be more time between matches when we get to the later stages of the tournament, it's hard to build hype within a day. I think playing 5/7 days a week for the first few rounds is great, but from the top 8 onwards they should space it out more. Also, matches from the top 8 onwards should be bo5.

Having said that, obviously it's only the first season of GSL so everything can't be perfect. Hopefully Gom will evaluate the failures and successes of this tournament and implement some positive changes for future events.

As for tonight's game, Cool 3-1 imo. He's just too good and he's facing (arguably) the weakest of the other three remaining players.

It's gonna be really hard for Cool to win a Bo5, cuz his style is kinda allin'ish and cheesey, but maybe he can pull of some mindgames and build on his experience as a Progamer.

The Maps are really though for Zerg though, especially cuz Meta is only good for Zerg on cross-positions...

They had to rush it, so its possible to have 3 season till end of the year

I hope cool will win so bad (zerg is def the most fun to watch!) but I'm gonna be the pessimist and predict a 3-0 loss to LiveForever.

And they are looking at 12 seasons the next year.
I do agree that it's hard to build hype and it's hard for players to practice.
But I like the tight schedule and lots of nice games for us to watch ^^
