With no P advancing to the semis I am going to root for Cool today. non-mirror in the finals would be nice

And ITR vs Cool in the finals would be even more awesome

I sort of agree with the predictions, although I think Cool will take Scrap Station with some hatch first build. Then it will be a matter of how well he can multitask to fend of the inevitable drops... LT I expect Thor drop and LiveForever to take it. Kulas I expect some sort of nonesense from Cool, either an all-in or some early gold macro something.

With that said, I think he's by far the better player and should be able to pull out the win.

Speaking of GSL yesterday, did anyone play ladder against zerg and experience a few 6pools?

Sadly he already used of his trump cards in the quarters. Should be quite a close matchup , but Cool is so Cool I believe he can pool through.

Having said that, obviously it's only the first season of GSL so everything can't be perfect. Hopefully Gom will evaluate the failures and successes of this tournament and implement some positive changes for future events. As for tonight's game, Cool 3-1 imo. He's just too good and he's facing (arguably) the weakest of the other three remaining players.

The Maps are really though for Zerg though, especially cuz Meta is only good for Zerg on cross-positions...

I think playing 5/7 days a week for the first few rounds is great, but from the top 8 onwards they should space it out more. Also, matches from the top 8 onwards should be bo5. I do agree that it's hard to build hype and it's hard for players to practice. But I like the tight schedule and lots of nice games for us to watch ^^
