Yeah I wanted TLO to advance but Hyperdub deserved the win. There's no other way about it. Congrats to Hyperdub and I hope he puts up a good fight against Tester next round. Better luck to TLO next time. I have no idea if any of you are doing this, but you best stop it right now, dagnabbit!

That reminds me of this amazing thread:

They really should just have a TLO showmatch at the end of each round.

Sad we missed the TLO interview =(
Still, hopefully TLO can come back next GSL and stomp everyone with ghost/nuke rush into offencive planetary fortress mothership (this is TLO, he'll find a way to make mother ships) unlucky enough to be paired up against him, possibly inducing rage into IdrA for lols.

i don't think GOM themselves really care a lot about the english stream, it's a commercial break in korea anyways and you can see them doing all their moving-stuff around in the background. it's not really part of the whole tournament package it feels. (as chill put it, kinda an 'afterthought')

That's always been an axiom of e-sports. Players can do and will do whatever they need to win, everything else is irrelevant.
It's a shame so many people have trouble understanding it.

Bad mistake not to check natural, same opening every game, of course your opponent is more likely to try something different.
Lesson learnt, good luck to the TLAF TL players and any other foreigners next 'season'.

I think even with TLO out the tournament it is still going to be very exciting, I'm rooting for the TSL guys! COOL( A Fruit Dealer) FIGHTING!!!

I'll check the Korean GOM site for the next half hour or so. If they have the interview up, I'll put up a quick translation.

I love TLO but that was a pretty brilliant way to end the series after the way those first two games went. You get tunnel vision on intense macro games and then all of the sudden it's a rush. That's the kind of unpredictability/cheese all great players should have in their arsenal.

Foreigners already out... I'm really curious to see how Nada and July will perform.

You guys are like a pack of wolves ambushing the pea brained rabbits! Well wolves hunt things bigger than rabbits, pea brained T-Rexes, shrunken T-Rexes called cows!
But yeah I'm sad to only see one epic game even though that one epic game was exploding with awesomeness.
Cheese is like sex with a 14 yr old, it's over quickly and leaves you wanting more.

I dont have any disrespect for Hyperdub for playing the way he did in game 3. Hes actually a great player and you can tell by watching his replays. But TLO plays like Boxer where even if you dont win you are a hero to fans. Its a longer term type of success. Of course the prize money and winning is always a factor, but seriously everyone will remember TLO for forever just from how hes played so far in SC2. Like, in 10 years people will still bring his name up fondly.

You wouldn't be human if you didn't get in the slightest annoyed that TLO is out, people are just using cheese as an excuse for his expulsion rather than admitting to themselves that Hyperdub was the better player.

Better luck to TLO next time. I don't respect cheese. I don't think he deserved the win for a retarded coin toss. It's a cheap way to win and it cheapens the game. It's the type of unsportsmanlike garbage you see with the constant faux "injuries" in soccer. It's bad for the sport.
You don't respect every single professional Brood War player in existence then, including Boxer. They all cheesed at some point or another. It's a valid option to win games. Get used to it.

A heads up for people, the white guys do get interviewed especially, but you only get to see it if you pay, they're uploaded as vods, not not on the streams
If you want to see TLO's manly tear, pay $20, support GOM, get like a hundred jillion other awesome games and ensure this tournament continues ad infinitem, thus securing more chances for TLO to win this shit good. Savvy?

People throw around the word "creative" way too much when referring to him too.
When other people do unorthodox builds, they're instantly labeled noob, but when TLO does it he's some sort of genius.
Hyperdub outplayed him in game 1 and dominated him in game 2. If it wasn't for one mistake in game 1, hyperdub would have won 2-0.
Really now? Are you serious or trolling?
* 2nd place, TeamLiquid SC2 Invitational 1 * 1st place, Go4SC2 ESL Cup #7 * 1st place, Go4SC2 ESL Cup #11 * 1st place, Zotac Cup #12 * 2nd place, PLU.cn Kaspersky Cup * 4th place, Altitude TL Invitational * 4th place, HDH Invitational
That's pretty fucking impressive.

and please stop this comments...really... i understand that fans are mad because their favorite player is out but come on. thats not a reason to bash on the other player who played more solid in all three games.
What? Hyper threw away game 1 and proxy cheesed game 3, how is that more solid? The people hating on the Hyper haters are just as stupid in this thread to be honest
ok game 1 and 2 were more solid. as you said he threew game 1 away after a HUGE lead. how is play not solid if he can get this HUGE lead? i dont understand why there is hate in the first place. i would love to see TLO go further but his tvt is just not as good as his other matchups...face it.

What an sad end to the TLO run. I was hoping he'd make it to the finals.
I'm sure TLO will never ever forget to check for proxy rax so close to his base ever again, tho. He'll come back a better player for GSL 2
TLO FIGHTING!!!!!!
