Objectively, there's nothing special about TLO apart from he was the last foreigner.
True but TLO is pretty good as well. This tourney is just stacked though. Better luck next season.

TLO just seemed to have less units at all times throughout the games. hyperdub constantly was making tanks and had a clear plan to develop a large force of solid units (tanks and vikings). This is the style I perfer to see, solid macro game. TLO is more about being unique and strategic, using nukes, making thors, making helion raids to gain that advantage.
I feel like solid play is much harder to develop, but it should trump that on the fly strategic play everytime. Making nukes and thors just isnt as good as tanks and vikings.

Just watched the game where TLO proxy-racks Diamaga. So the retards hating on Hyberdub, why the fuck is it alright for TLO to cheese the shit outta Diamaga but if a Korean does it suddenly he becomes the biggest dick ever. As someone mentioned before "he who dabbles in hypocrisy is the greatest fool of them all"
So let's not apply double standards you fucking morons (talking to the people bashing Hyperdub, fortunately this community has TONS of people who see the Bo3 for what it was [exploiting the lack of scouting/preparedness for a certain strategy]) and just wish TLO a better run at GSL2 (Personally I think he did fantastic and this kid has a BRIGHT future in Starcraft2)
P.S. Fucking retarded haters are fucking retarded *douse flame thrower*

Really funny to see people raging over this one, because I know they would be celebrating TLO's "creativity" or "game sense" had he pulled that proxy build on Hyperdub. He lost, get over it.
Personally, I think cheese games are thrilling to watch, this was a good one.

Some people don't grasp the basic concepts that were explained in the commentating (unless you're watching the korean stream I guess?)
Hyperdub pushed because TLO started dropping nukes, and Hyperdub was afraid it would dramatically change the dynamic of the game (and erase his significant lead). He made a decision to push believing that his superior numbers would outweigh his positional disadvantage. Its easy to say this was a mistake in retrospect (especially because Hyperdub was REALLY good at preventing nukes). However if Hyperdub had continued to macro and TLO nuked his ass into the ground, all the clowns in this thread would be saying Hyperdub should have pushed when he held the huge lead.
Every game is decided by mistakes the players make. When one player makes more mistakes than his opponent, its called getting outplayed.

Also, if they do play with the new changes, what kind of impact will it have? Yes GSL will be using whichever version of SC2 that is out on the day of those matches.

Sorry but it doesnt only takes mistakes from the opponent to make such a come back, his multitasking when Hyperdub pushed out with his whole army at both TLO's nat and 3rd was mind blowing, he could handle both fronts by splitting and microing his forces perfectly at both spots while being outnumbered by a huge margin, I'm sorry but there not many people who could be able to pull that off even with the mistakes Hyperdub did, or shall I say, TLO made him do. He even purposely made him overproduce vikings by showing up 2 measely BCs so he could finally get complete ground advantage. Most of Hyperdubs mistakes have been pushed by TLO, that was just pure genius.
Again, mindblowing play by him, too bad he felt apart in the next games.

morrow pwnd TLO so why wouldn't some pro korean player ?
If 15 top foreigners players reached the RO64, for sure some of them would have been in RO8. Is just a matter of ODDS... 2 foreigners between 64 players... and come on, IDRA or TLO would have gotten further if they just had a better luck with the oponents.

Siege tanks [E] key and Thor with auto repair is mind blowing skill?

Most BW players have fantastic multitasking ability.
Did you watch the Ro32 Clide match? Tasteless obs-ing focused on an attack in Clide's main and when he goes to check on the opponents base, Clide has a banshee heading back with 14 kills... a quick check of the harvestor count shows Clide is 14 ahead... coincidence? While Clide had to deal with a hellion drop in his main, he managed to take out 14 SCVs with a single banshee and still get the banshee out alive. Being able to attack on two fronts is a lot easier than being attacked on one front and dealing a decisive blow on another front.
