This must be a test run of some sort. 32 players and open registration just doesn't make a good combination when the game in hand is StarCraft. Ah well, I hope they come to their senses in the future and host online qualifiers and/or invite top players instead so we can get actually good quality games to spectate. I guess/hope we can see a bit more grand stuff from MLG in the future. It's worth noting that all tournaments for all their games in their pro circuit are open (5 a year) while the nationals are closed (1 per year), basically this is the qualifying games for the real tournament. | ||

How is 60$ buyin unreasonable? Also North Carolina and Virginia area has a huge scene and again theres 6 event in a TOUR. What do you expect. This is a big LAN tournament | ||
