invite filthy. He has a very unique playstyle, is a random player and won the transtasman tournament beating moonglade in the finals. Also invite some of the lesser know players. I know a lot of players on the ladder that could beat some people on this list quite badly.

Newport (Protoss) had 62.26% win rate on ladder during phase 2 of beta, really strong Protoss player. Beastly Macro. Pretty sure he can take down a lot of the players listed in the the OP.

Oh and btw, I am SpoR and I'm zerg. And to all the doubters, I will be stepping up my game 100% when game is released tomorrow.

There's so many good players not listed on the invited list. I'd say any single guy from root, eg, or vtgaming deserves to play in this. There's just not enough slots. I'll shamelessly put my name forward for consideration of course, but this is just not big enough! Honestly, I'd like to see a qualifiers bracket for uninvited players as well. I think invitationals are great for stirring up fan support and sponsor interest, but bad for generating interest in new players/new strategies.

Kinda agree here, and why is it 60 players anyways? Isn't it typically multiples of 8 for tournies? (so at least 64)

I'd like to see Madfrog (UnknownArt) play in this. He's really kept a low profile during beta - are there any replays floating around?

His strong zerg play at the top of the Euro ladder coupled with his past WC3 success would make him an interesting addition to the HDH.

60 players makes more sense than 64. 56 players have to play in the first round, 4 get first round byes. Then 28 + 4 = 32.
