The World Series doesnt play out all 7 games if thematch ends early.
Really? You were there to see the exact order of the games? No you weren't so until it is confirmed that is how it went you should not be theroy crafting about stuff you don't know.
You are hands down one of the worst posters I have ever seen on TL. How you have survived this long is beyond me.
Lol, I like how I was warned for my last post. I guess some big shot mod got butthurt. Stop being so soft. These forums aren't worth my time if people can truly be so easily offended. You should be ashamed. It's people like you who make the Internet an uneventful, uninteresting and boring place. Anyway, enjoy living in, and "enforcing", your imaginary lala land.
So the internet is "boring" if you can't insult others? Seems legit. Anyway I doubt Huk would say he won a game when he didn't. I'm sure there's a logical explanation for everything. Huk seems like a good guy, humanity is just stupid by the rule instead of the exception unfortunately.
Can we maybe clear this thread and talk about the games being played?

Wait. HuK's piss-poor attitude? When did he had a piss-poor attitude towards anything? He just pointed out that the series went 2-1 and not 2-0 which is a good thing to point out.
With 4 posts I wouldn't claim that one of the best USA players is a liar.
"if sean really wants me to i will, i dont see point tho even if i win ill probably still get bashed for something"
HuK's post is full of self-pity. I would consider this a piss-poor attitude. This is not the attitude of a true winner.
But I suppose I know nothing, because I don't post regulary on TL.net. Therefore (supposedly), I have zero worth and zero credibility. I admire your logic.
My logic is that if you can't come up anything better than just accuse people of lying, maybe you should post even less regulary.
This. If the HuK who posted is indeed the real HuK, then I certainly have lost respect for him.
It's the real HuK.
And my logic is that I do not accept something as true until solid evidence or proof has been presented. Unfortunately, HuK's word alone, is not evidence enough. But you may continue to blindly accept what others say as fact, in the ignorant fashion you have been.
User was warned for this post
Sure, you shouldn't accept things without solid evidence but you also shouldn't reject them until the evidence has not been provided. It has been less than 24 hours and obviously Day[9] may want to cast the replay, so it's reasonable that HuK would not have posted it yet.
It's important not only to be a surface skeptic - I'm skeptical of your skepticism. Maybe, rather than posting supposition and pretending that it based on logic, just wait for the evidence to present itself. In a few days we'll either have a replay/vod or we won't.
What would HuK gain from saying he beat Tester once in their match, a bit of respect points from random posters? He's already out of the tournament, why would he want to ruin his rep by lying about a "third" game that he won?
I don't think HuK would ruin his rep by saying he beat Tester once in the tourney without the replay to back it up. If he claims he beat Tester once in the tourney, has the replay and is willing to send it to day9, that's enough proof, what else do you want? Do you really think they would play a third game just for fun? And if it was a third game that was for fun, I'm pretty sure HuK wouldn't go out and say what he said just to gain a bit of respect from TL users.
The double cyber and Tester chrono boosting the wrong one suggests that he was a bit nervous in that game, because he probably felt his back against the wall (assuming the match was 1-1 at that point).

It's not a matter of offending people; it's a matter of being mature on these forums, especially in a tense conversation like this.
An extra game that didn't change the series and definitely didn't change his group placement is not a big deal, and if you think Day9 or Tester would do anything like this on purpose you underestimate their professionalism.

That probably only happens if TLO uses EMP against Tester, building over 20 barracks with techlab/reactor shit and pumping mass Marine Marauder while Tester plays with High Templar instead of Colossi....

That was against `Idra and the first game, wtf are you talking about? Also that is so going out on a limb that i dont even wanna pick it apart.
Its frustrating to see with the coming of release, how many people with under 20 posts are coming in here and doing everything that has NOT been allowed on TL for ages before that. I'll admit, I've only been here for about half a year, but even so, the difference in newcomers 4-6 months ago is vastly different from the arrogance of many new signups.
Teamliquid isn't going to change for you guys, if you think that people are soft or easily offended on teamliquid then why are you here? Don't try to show up a community of tens of thousands when you have done nothing to be around and know this community as a whole.

lol, I can't even remember anymore, I watch the games at like 2am. Thanks for the correction

It makes more logical sense than a game 1 or 2 Huk victory, use your head. Notice the lack of details Huk didnt provide when he said he won a game. Wouldnt it have been easy for him to say, I won game 1/2? Hes not even piping in on the conversation to put this all to rest.
Back on topic, however, i'm excited to see TLO play Tester now. Will Tester play his hardest since he is already likely to move on? This set could be the best in the round robin portion.
This. If the HuK who posted is indeed the real HuK, then I certainly have lost respect for him.

It's interesting that you are not willing to accept the words of the person who actually played the game but seem eager to jump on the bandwagon regarding this theory which has neither evidence or proof.
As for you feeling upset about Huk's "piss-poor attitude", I think you should give him a break. He's not a robot. So he feels bad about losing and having a bunch of strangers bad mouthing him? Even sports professionals have a hard time taking criticism from fans (ex: Carey Price) and many of them have been in the spotlight for a much larger time. Give the kid a break.
I would just like to post in favor of Huk. It's quite ridiculous to lie about something like this and everybody should be thankful he wants to share that game

I would love to see this too. I'm itching for some SC2 action and I'm trying to not spoil the GGI games for myself!

I could not agree more. It's not about who wins at this point (cause we already know who did), it's two of the top Protoss players going at it !
