Patrol micro scattering would have made those zealots kill all those tanks, I'd bet.

That last game was really good. I really like WhiteRa, but he went void ray too damn much.
The nuke on that Archon was classic. Well played, TLO. Congrats on your 50 euros.

TLO - WhiteRa (list of games follows! Updated!)
+ Show Spoiler +
1-3 TLSC2I1
2-3 HDHI1
2-3 Fragster showmatch
4-1 9th July showmatch
4-0 14th July showmatch
----
13-10

Well, there is a clear curve in time towards the most recent matches getting better for TLO, while still White-Ra has advantage in the match score, which is 2-3.

Were there any Lag problems in this game as well? I may be a huge TLO fan, but before these last 2 showmatches, I had ranked White-Ra higher than TLO in my personal rankings. Is WR just rusty or something? Or does he just do better in a tournament setting? 'cause these games were not the WR I had come to know and love. I have a hard time believing that this WR who just lost 4-0 is the guy that won the HDH and placed 2nd in Altitude.
You should not have to pay to watch the GSL, Proleague, or OSL at a reasonable time. That is not "fine" and it's BS to say otherwise. My sig since 2011. http://www.youtube.com/user/dabom88

Thanks just annihilate melee, it's not even close. Charge + massive zeals, and even with no supporting units the tanks still win.

Wow so this has just got to be an absolute disgrace to the HD and Husky duo. Aside from the technical difficulties the players played on the same map on ALL games. If you are gonna do a showmatch please make it interesting! I don't understand why they just didn't do a single cast. It would be much better overall than a half cast for the live viewers who took the time to watch!

One of the best definitions of insanity is trying the same thing and expecting a different outcome. TLO just mopped up any void ray aggression again and again, kept his cool and played thoroughly.

White-Ra seemed to be losing his cool a bit to the end, making silly errors and such. Still, fun to watch, TLO remains my favourite player for displays like this: Solid play, fun times (Archon nuuuuke) and just knows how to win.

Even the builds were stupid. I mean fast VR whatever, but 2 factory tank/hellion is dumb, why not just go for a standard barracks + reactor and siege, it would have been even stronger and less weak to VR early on if Whitera decided to bother microing at all

I dunno it was like TLO doing random shit and Whitera playing like a total newbie

Yeah gotta agree with that, lost temple is good and all but so mundane to watch it 4 times in a row.
Would have liked to see Metalopolis at least in the mix :/

This was not something HD and Husky came up with, so I wouldn't put the blame on them for the same map.

Obv they had some tech difficulties, but its not like this was "their" showmatch

Great post. I do want to note that I'm a big supporter of weighing the more important matches heavier. White-Ra has won TLI and HDH but I can't wait for them to meet in another big tournament after these series. Whoever wins the matches that matter the most has the more impressive heads-up results.

White-Ra is only slightly ahead in tournament results. They're both absolute top in tournaments. I think this early into the game you can't really say one guy is better than the other skillwise. It'll shift back and forth.

p.s. Idra placed second in Altitude and Tester got first.

I didn't say anything about it being HD and Husky's fault.
In fact, I was watching the Russian stream.

Edit: guess you were replying to the other comment.

The reasoning behind reactor'd hellion against VR is because I guess hes anticipating the switch to chargelots which is becoming pretty commen.

But man, those games were cringe worthy. TLO played good, but nothing spectacular, but whitera making all kinds of mistakes.. Like him placing his 4 stalkers between the entrance to his base and the watch tower.. basically letting 3 hellions run up his ramp for no reason.. I almost thew up :s
