Those are all of the things you can think of, when he has hundreds of games of SC2 during its varied patches before the game is actually released. You're making a claim he can't play ZvZ based on a sample side of a game that is constantly being patched with weak evidence.

I'm not trying to pick a fight or argue; but do not pretend to have some knowledge the rest of us don't regarding Idra's abilities at SC2 based upon mediocre assumptions and poor anecdotal evidence.

Those are the results where it mattered. Sure, IdrA might have held off a hundred different cheeses in ladder, but ladder is not a representative of pro-league play. My point regarding ZvZ is that ZvZ games are usually decided quickly - either by a successful rush that leads to the rusher's victory, or by an unsuccessful rush that leads to the rusher being vastly behind. There are rarely games where each player macros up with the confidence that the other one cannot break him.

And I'm not saying that I have any more knowledge than the "rest of you." I'm simply giving my opinion as to what IdrA's strengths and weaknesses might be.

People do that all the time.

This will be my last post on the subject as to not detract further (only reason I'm even doing it at all is I find zvz even more boring to watch in SC2 than BW atm). Thank god this group is almost over.

They weren't games that largely mattered. Those matches aren't close to representative of pro-league matches. Of the ones you mentioned maybe 1/2 were even legitimate enough to have ANY worth.

Your initial post on the subject suggested Idra should consider changing changing races and claiming he can't keep up with Korean early game zerg. I find this to be simply without merit and lacking of meaningful evidence to support your claim. My view is simply that your suggestions are lacking meaningful insight on the subject and should be viewed with great skepticism.

Then a simple "I disagree, because it's still too early to tell" would suffice. There's no need to drag an opinion out and ask me to provide evidence when you're just going to dismiss everything that I brought forth because "it's not legit." Also, I didn't say IdrA should consider changing races. I said he might've performed better as Terran because TvT usually involves more macro play, but that's an opinion, not a prescription. Obviously IdrA will play whatever he wants to play.

You have your opinion. I have mine. Let's leave it at that.

Is there a way we can get our hands on the replays of this event? or the provider purposely not releasing actual replays.. and only VODs?

Forsti said that they explicitly asked him not to release replays.

Already lack of replays especially with the patching so fast, this is kinda sucks and in my opinion not really helping the sc2 community even if it's a commerical gimmick. What benefits does 17173.com gain by not releasing the replays?
