Sure, DIMAGA is just lucky. The guy who won most european tourneys during beta is just a lucky boy getting helped by the groups/bracket to not face the koreans!! Oh, wait, he eliminated one already. Are you saying that Freedom, xiaOt and cezanne are bad players now? xiaOt eliminated cezanne, the guy who finished his group (DIMAGA's group, BTW) in the first place, and then he lost to the lucky boy DIMAGA who's just lucky to win 3-1 over the protoss who eliminated one of the best zergs around, and like I said, the same zerg who finished his group in first with a 3-0 record.

Btw, when Freedom played TLO he seemed to be kinda of "IDC FOR THIS GAME AAAAA" and just wanted to end that fast. Not that TLO suck, but Freedom wasn't giving his best, not at all.

This somehow reminds me of Turkey in the European Football Championship 2008 ...

Heh, and people said the reason + Show Spoiler +
Zergs
dominated in Asian server was because Terran and Protoss there was inferior to our style. It's not going to be completely Zerg-dominated quarter finals though; I believe Maka (Terran) will manage to pull through this.

Yeah, hopefully Maka lives up to his "pesticide" nickname. A "not purely ZvZ" quarterfinals would be greatly appreciated.

Guess I'm rooting for Newlife and Maka because we already have two Zergs in the semis, though TBH I would've liked to see Cool (Fruit Seller) live up to his reputation. But with two Zergs already in the semis and ZvZ at the state that it is, I'd rather see a non-ZvZ final than Cool.

I mean, just imagine seven straight games of "banelings vs. banelings lolz." Ugghh...

ya (T)Freedom is a noob. esp in zvz

(not)

He also just lost 0-4 to TLO in Kaspersky.

He's not playing well lately and Dimaga would/will have trouble with Maka, Allpro, Newlife, Sen, Check, Lee, Zenio, F91...

well i dont want to troll around here, but i do not completetely agree. Maka and Sen are in gerenral better than him I guess, but the rest is absolutely compareable at the moment to DIMAGA. The zvz aof freedom in the group phase were delightful, highly recommented to see. But lets just be happy that there is a european player that kicks korean asses (:

dont miss the maka matches! <3

the only reason dimaga doesnt seem as dominant as he is is because he is banned from ggnet/tlnet affiliated events.
If you take a note of that there is absolutely no doubt that dimaga is far and beyond the best sc2 player outside of korea.

To me, outside of Korea, the best are:
Z - Dimaga, P - White Ra, T - TLO (since he has playing T more often lately. But i guess this one is a close one with Demuslim and CauthonLuck close imho)

all the games of the turkish team in the em08 were kind of epic , except the match vs portugal i guess
everytime when it seemed that they were out for sure, they came back with some brilliant miracle last minute play. some of the best football matches i ever saw! let's hope dimaga won't lose in the semi finals like them :D

As with most tournaments they are slightly delayed. Forsti just got invited to the game lobby though so he'll soon find out when they are due to play.

hmm, sen is also outside korea ^^; if dimaga has to play check/cool next, he might be in trouble. he's 0-2 so far against korean bane/ling style, and check bane/ling'd sen out of the tourny already. haypro also got stomped by it, guess that isn't a common strat in EU zvz?

Newlife just got schooled by Cool. He hesitated too much before the push and built too many canons before a really late expo = gg.

and horribly passive play by newlife, why be ultra aggressive in the begining if you aren't going to follow it up at all.
