Bleh. Bad games and bad commentators..but still i guess 24,000 viewers mean something. White-ra seems super solid with his builds. Zerg just sucks now.

Ppl shouldn't complain lol

People complain out of habit. It's like when hockey players get called for penalties by their reputation rather than what they actually does on the rink.

Nice game and congrats WhiteRa.

My impression of IdrA is that he is kind of rude just leaving without the gg.
It just screams 'sore looser'.

I think it is more that he just loses his composure a lot when he is beaten. The last game he was already feeling the pressure too much, and made some bad decisions. White-Ra stayed focused and stuck with what worked.

edit: oops quoted the wrong person, too lazy to change it. just ignore that

IdrA's loss on Metalopolis was due to the fact that he never got his Spire until ridiculously late. We saw in the first game on Lost Temple how badly Corruptors can demolish Colossi, but IdrA took the gamble and invested in Infestors, and while they're more versatile and have a use on units besides Colossi, they aren't as effective in countering Colossi as Corruptors are. IdrA also lost the Steppes of War match by going with an all in (and a pretty shoddy one at that) instead of trying any kind of macro game, especially one he saw that WhiteRa was doing a fast expand.

Whitera had a huge advantage, just being himself and on Steppes. His build was perfect for how Zerg need to play against him on that map.

Opinions.

Personally, the fact that Idra seemed so far ahead so many times and just lost it all made the games interesting to watch. I would consider those entertaining games. Was the actual quality of play good? Yeah, but who knows if it was top notch?

It's sad how broken PvZ lategame is, IdrA played BEASTLY, 5 times better macro than WR had, and he still lost so hard, i hope blizzard sees this, Z buff inc.

It's not broken, Idra did a horrible attack and White-Ra took full advantage, quit talking out of your ass. Your whining in this situation is like saying in SC1, "Omg look, the Protoss army attack moved in to that Terran ball and the Terran lost like only ten units! The late game is so broken, buff Protoss!"

Z is definately not broken, but forcefield is. But since patch 13, forcefield is able to be destroyed, we'll see how that changes things, but i doubt it wont atleast from a Zerg point of view.

People are talking about "epic infestor blocks with forcefields" rofl. He cast 10 forcefields across an entire choke. You really think he was specifically saying "OK I NEED TO MICRO THESE FORCEFIELDS TO STOP INFESTORS FROM COMING IN"? No, he was abusing the fact that he had a t1.5 unit that could change map terrain and block off 80% of an entire zerg army from attacking. He didn't give a damn if there were infestors there. He spam clicked across the choke and won a fight he should have had no chance in.

Well essentially they took the best EU/US players and put them in a tourny where the prize pool is the largest ever offered by ANY SC2 tournament.

Bad games, probably not. HD/Husky are decent commentators, why a lot of people start playing SC2.

absolutely amazing White-Ra!

Though i gotta say, beside good play the imbalance in PvZ showed quite clearly on Metalopolis (Good forcefields and position or not the P army took out a just as big or bigger Zerg army without losing anything.) As a well as the P favorism of Steps of War. P just cannot lose on that map unless he screws up heavily

yet sen won vs white ra 4-2

well yeah, that guy makes me reconsider waht i think about zerg being weak. beating TLOs superbuilds and beating White ra, he has sg figured out the rest of us doesnt

so kinda dissapointed at todays final, imo the Europe vs Asia and SC2 world cup matches are far more exciting and "inspiring"...
