We are Starcraft players after all..
Well, that IS kidda what HDStarcraft is known for, 720p/1080p videos.

Personally im content with 720p (couldnt bare watching a game below that), but im sure the 1080p are nice for ppl with the screen to handle it.

getting beaten by a 'cheap' strategy is no excuse to BM.
BM is unmitigated arrogance and imo is closely tied to the player's personality. basically, they don't have a personality.

big thanks to HDH always giving us a good show!

sup no stream for TLO vs cautionbla?
edit: nevermind.

Will the replay pack be available at the conclusion of each round or are you just planning on releasing a whole pack at the conclusion of the entire tourny?

This is the last set we have and we are working on it.
Cant wait for the round of 8! my girlfriend "I know what I'm going to do tonight" me ...... .....

Actually I don't care if it's 720p or 1080p even though my monitor can handle it. 1080p doesn't add that much to the experience imo so I'd rather go for quicker 720p.

If we got the replay files we wouldn't have to wait xD!

I'm working on day9 and tasteless right now. It should be up tonight barring any serious difficulties. Thanks for being patient!

NP, We appreciate you putting the time into this! It's somehow more exciting watching them with commentary!

I have watched all your videos, find you guys entertaining, and am aware of the popularity and friendliness of you guys on these forums. Never the less, I am very frustrated with your delivery mechanics of these videos.
* The game VOD's are many days beyond the match * I can't make it to any of the streams and even if I could its damn near impossible to figure out where your hosting or how your hosting or when your hosting. * Your videos need to have a shorter intro * I'm sure you guys are trying hard and hope you continue to improve and don't flame me out of my chair for telling you want I'm sure many or feeling.
Stuff I think is really awesome * the enthusiasm * the commentary quality is not bad for us low ranked plat/gold players * the interviews post games is AWESOME you should make that a requirement of future tournaments.
Your intro is cool, but it needs to be

Then you clearly need glasses since everything about that is updated a few days in advance in the OP or when they're anounced they'll show up on the TL calendar and you can look there too. Easy, isn't it? ^^

Thanks for all the hard work you guys. I'm definitely more than willing to accept a short shoutout to the sponsor in the intro vid and at the beginning of the match since they've been so generous with the prize money which is no doubt what attracted all these high level players. Hopefully this is a semi-regular occurrence. Keep up the good work

+ Show Spoiler + If you think scouting around for a proxy on a map where proxy void rays are extremely popular, scouting not many units and thinking the only way your opponent can win is by cheesing is somehow suspicious then I think you're paranoid.

Or maybe its not easy, like I said in the first place prick. The stream listings are interactive a fixed link of the vod's on either their you tubes or this place would be appropriate for an event of this magnitude. That is if you want to increase the viewers.
|
Are you guys planning on using a different stream next time? A lot of people had problems with ustream. It would buffer every few seconds for long periods of time or give you a black screen with nothing happening.
I used 3 different browsers; ie, firefox, and chrome. All had the same result. I hope you guys work with the glhf guys again because that's the only stream that has worked perfectly of the 3 you've tried. Good job on the tournament otherwise.
|
I think the biggest issue was livestream couldn't support the kind of numbers this tourney was pumping. And once they swapped to ustream it struggled as well.
Complaining about VOD upload time isn't going to fix anything.
Despite the shitfest they have to deal with getting livestream/ustream to work: a) correctly b) with overlays and c) with two casters
theyre doing a great job
Keep it up guys
