get ur factories faster and practice solid build order execution// early game macro. its ok to let the macro slip a bit later on on silver level, np. but massive supply stuck so early on does not only cost u tons in terms of army size and eco, it also throws off ur timings. in general id suggest to decide between hellion harass into mass thors and an early thor attack. u cant really fit both into one build. edit: ok, now i watched the second replay aswell. u seriously need to work on ur basic build orders. getting a superquick refinery and then the orbital on 12 scvs, just to then not use all the gas until u have over 200 of it is just no good build. and in a game where u expanded very early, u were sitting on 27 scvs after 12 minutes.... u should rather have some 50 scvs by that time with such an early expansion.... my advice to u would be to focus on these 3 things: 1.) constantly produce scvs until u have more than 33 per mining base. ie constantly produce scvs and never ever stop, period. this alone will boost ur gameplay significantly. 2.) never queue up more than 2 units at a time, ie at most have one unit in queue besides the one which is currently being produced 3.) download some replays of ur favorite terran pro and copy his build orders. build orders are dependent on scouting and shouldnt be copied mindlessly, but u should do it anyway to get solid openings. what u do is highly inefficient. u dont even know how much potential in ur play is thrown away by ur subpar BOs. in general, always open up with 10 depot 12 rax 13 refinery orbital once rax is done marine once rax is done | ||

just because 13 gas is the "norm" doesn't mean you always need it. for instance, if you see a zerg player put down a hatch on 14 you can go 2 rax no gas and bunker rush pretty effectively forcing him to either cancel the hatch or risk losing it. | ||
