Ahoy TL, with the semi-success of the "Zerg Standard Build Order"-thread I'm reviving it and making a new one. The original thread was outdated and there was mostly tactics for beta and not how the game is today.

As in the previous thread, I'm compiling all the "standard" build orders versus each race. I will collect them all in the original post and update it frequently.

Please reply with proper and clean format so I don't have to edit everything forever. Try follow my template I used in the Speedling Expand to Mutalisks build. Note: This build orders are for Platinum and nothing else. I will try to add most build orders but obviously I can't add them all. Also, feel free to leave feedback on already posted builds to make them better.

* @ 100 gas again, upgrade to Lair.
* As soon as Lair finishes, build a Spire.

Hi, it is nice of you to compile this, but I have two questions.
Firstly, isn't Liquipedia already covering the build orders and secondly, don't you think 15 Overlord 15 Queen is a bit off ? You can at least go 16 Queen and then pump more drones and it does not have a setback.

1. Liquipedia is outdated.
2. If you want speed, queen and two zerglings as soon as pool finishes you need to save minerals at 15. But you can build them at 16 or 17 and delay either.

I'd go for 15 overlord and 15 queen as you said, I always do - lets me get out those 2 crutial zerglings and the overlord pops just after the zerglings.

I dont understand how it is a setback..

-Use first 2 zerglings to scout the enemy out, if you see the threat of a push produce spinecrawlers and use queens to defend. Don't waste larva on zerglings yet, get both bases saturated.
-Build spinecrawlers - more cost effective then zerglings.
-First 100gas on zergling speed.
-Second 100gas on Lair
-When lairs complete, get Spire, and then mutas. Producing zerglings when ready.

USE INFESTORS!

I always do 10 Ovie. 15 Ovie is right because you need 2 supply for a queen and 1 supply for the lava you currently have. If you do 16 Ovie, sometimes you will morph that 1 lava and supply lock your queen 17/18.
Roaches all the way way way.

I don't know all the builds myself.

I can and probably will submit stuff to Liquipedia once we get some build orders here.

How can I edit/submit when I don't have anything to work with?
