EPTI was wondering what the specific "standard" unit compositions are vs. each race. For example, in Brood War, vs. Protoss, you would usually form a mech army with tanks, vultures, and few goliaths.

in general though I would suggest Protoss --> Marine + Marauder + random banshee/ghost Terran --> Marauder + Tank + Viking Zerg --> Tanks + Bio units thrown in and maybe a couple thors? Again it really depends on what you are up against but these general unit compositions should work against most of the races. | ||

TvP: MMM, Vikings vs Collosi or Air, Ghosts vs Templar TvT: MMM, Tanks, Vikings TvZ Bio: MMM + Tanks TvZ Mech: Hellions, Tanks, Thors, Marines These unit compositions are very general, so don't take them too seriously. Often, ravens, banshees, hellions, etc... are added to each of these combos defending on the situation | ||

The 4 gate is strong as toss but that is getting nerfed in the next patch. Terran is the easiest race to win with right now for equal skill level. | ||

When I have advantage I just brute force push with Vike&BC and 1a the whole ground force. When I'm getting pushed around I turtle up in a PF and try to backdoor drop on his structures. TvP Seriously I have no idea what works... Mothership vortex and psi storm will decimate my army no matter what I do in late games. I try to end the fight asap with cloaked banshee rushes into MM push but I lose more than 70% the time against P if the game goes beyond 15 min. I can't even find a reliable way to defend cannon rush(it seems P doesn't have to sac his econ at all). TvZ Mech combo of Thor/Hellion with a few Tank support seems to work wonder. When you see Broodlords make Vikes asap or you will die very miserably. This is by far my strongest matchup(due to serious imba i guess lol). In all matchups I am absolutely horrible in long games. I have never won a game going 40+ min. I almost win every time when the opponent tries to cheese me(except cannon rush which I lose 100% the time). I currently just got in Plat and is having some serious problem against P, I just don't know what to do against them. I've beaten Diamond T and Z players. | ||
