Inspiration:

At first, this map started out as the second map design that came to me after being notified of TLMC8.

I had been playing for a few months
After a very lengthy break from the game
But my love for Sc2 never died.

If one might be so unfortunate to remember my maps from years ago
You might remember that I continuously tried to bring back the classic Broodwar map:

...Multiple times...

After a long hiatus

And possibly the foreseeable future of competitive StarCraft...

I took a lot of patience with this map, There are no jagged edges in the pathing
My new suggestions for wall offs are of equal and balanced value.

It is also worth mentioning:
The rush distance is a comfortable balance away, well beyond 40 seconds.

This preset detail shot highlights zerg comfort level.
A forward wall off, neglect of taking back third (perhaps to facilitate an aggressive build) and the generosity of creep spread coverage.
Note: The back door rocks have their HP lowered to 1250 from 2000.

This shot shows one variance of an open concept wall off for protoss. It can be flipped or open in the center.
Based on the protoss strategy involved, this could be a sign of super early aggression, or paranoia.
Because this wall off only seals in your main from enemies, I am dubbing it "the wall-in" area of Ophilia.
This type of wall off also easily transitions into the larger, more safe frontal wall off, demonstrated in the next image, using terran.

Here, we have the terran pressured early, committing to the closed entrance wall off.
Later securing the open entrance wall off for expansion security.
I placed units to demonstrate space usage as well as useful defender zones.
Notice the sensor tower? It's coverage may surprise you!
Note: the forward wall can be stretched farther out for more space in the suggested natural expansion. However it could be more dangerous.

Looks like plenty of interesting and unique battles will be had with the way the first three bases are set up.
Very aesthetic too.

Thanks Wiel! I've play-tested the map during development around 20+ times. I've seen many different strategies, but of course not all of them so hopefully BTTV will host me some goodness

About the textures: Thank you I appreciate it! All of the maps I've seen submitted so far have been pretty well textured, you should check them out too if you haven't already.
