But first let me say that I am very thankful for all the support and the donations we have received so far, as well as the quality of maps that we have seen coming from the community. This is was has kept me motivated to keep this going for so long. And I hope this will continue through 2015 as well! I am already looking forward to what this year has to offer! Anyway here are the results of December 2014: 1st Place went to Apotheosis by -NegativeZero-, which convincingly received 27% of all votes! He will receive 25$ prize money! 2nd Place goes to First Contact by IeZaeL, which received 20% of all votes! 3rd Place was claimed by Hangar 18 by NewSunshine, which also got 20% of all votes! Only a single vote seperated it from the 2nd placed map. 4th Place went to Lyote by ScorpSCII! + Show Spoiler + 5th Place went to KTV Tamerlane's Sangar by Uvantak! + Show Spoiler + Full results of the poll can be found here: + Show Spoiler + With that said, All map posted after the 25th of December will be considered for MotM January 2015! All you need to do is to create a map thread following the forum guidelines (please include a top down overview) AND publish the map on battle.net until the 25th of December. Once again we are taking donations! As usual, 50% of the donations will be used for the competition prize pool. The other 50% will be saved up to fund future MotM events. Drakorb United Kingdom5 Posts January 02 2015 00:22 GMT #2 Really liked these top 3 maps. First contact reminded me a little bit of Yeonsu. Hangar 18 I thought could be the map for some really cool games if you had a specifically prepared build.
