quit the theory craft on whether or not units suck, You also have a mothership core that does a shitload of damage that can go to any nexus which is an extra defense you would not have had in wings of liberity. Also the orcales can do mass cloaking..All these things can allow different tech routes.
. With the unlimited chronoboost thanks to mothership core as well, you can probably chrono out these tempest really fast in addition to a few orcales. I'd say orcale first, then tempest... When orcale scouts, see if muta's, if not mutas go tempest and abuse the range the orcale will give the tempest . If they attack, mass cloak your units /recall the tempest if its in trouble. There so much possibilities. Its going to take atleast 1 year for a new metagame to see some sort of stabilization . Till then ill be having alot of fun :D

Bug: The auto-turret of the raven can be placed on the swarm host when buried. (This must not happen)

Bug: Burrow Charge ability does not recharge when the ultralisk is buried (burrow). This must not happen

A small change i saw from the Battlereport of the new HOTS version.
-When hellions come out of the factory, they supposed to come out in battleform instead.
-When a widow mine attaches to a unit, should it also grant vision of the unit it is attached to?
-The reaper could do with a healing effect animation /healing sound when its healing after that combat drugs is researched. I believe it uses the same medivac heal loop sound.
Just wanted to say , very good work .. It must have taken a lot of time to make this mod. It is much appreciated over here .

This should be working already, it was definitely working before.

I've been working on Howling Peaks a bit, to improve the accuracy of the layout and the aesthetic. It's not finished yet, but I've ironed out the bumps in the layout(both literal and figurative), and I do have some screenshots of what I have so far:
+ Show Spoiler +
Once I'm finished, the experience should be just a bit more complete, and hopefully more enjoyable.

Nice NewSunshine! I'm impressed . Thanks for doing this.

Please, please need a bigger map with 4-8 players so we can macro more and have some more fun with comps etc.

Nice emulation of what we currently have for HotS. There's sooooo much more to playing protoss now that it's making my head spin, lol! Howling Peaks is also pretty bright. My eyes get tired quickly from playing on it...
But there's a major bug. When you're building units and upgrades, there's no cancel button or ESC hotkey, but there is one when you're making buildings. It makes cancelling stuff a huge hassle, and worse it messes up buildings badly. I had 2 nexuses selected, one was building probes, one was being constructed. I hit ESC to cancel some probes. I canceled my nexus! D:
I think tempests have great potential. Given that they fly decently fast, and when the upgrade comes into play, they're very hard to touch. You take them not for their DPS, but for their burst utility. Get enough of them and you one-shot enemy key units one by one. That leaves the rest of your army to engage a battered force at your disposal. The mothership core is essential to chrono-ing out your other tech and addded defense. Zealot + sentries + mothership cores are amazing at base defense.
Warhounds annoy me. They're too auto-pilot, and too good vs what they counter. They just plain shut down stalker strategies. Annoying.

What i like with tempest is that you need to micro them when you get a high number of them, because otherwise they will overkill way too much against most targets. Also their very low rate of fire means that you pretty much have to do hit and run with them. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised with that. On the other hand I have some concerns about tvz, I really don't see how terran can compete with zerg late game, it looks like you still have to rely on vikings to kill broodlords, and between that and the ultra charge + swarm host + viper I really don't see how a terran will be able to fight a zerg that is constantly tech switching between those in the late game.

I played this today. I appreciate OP for going through the effort in making it! Seeing queens darker and... flatter looking was a little silly but I guess they looked that way in the HOTS preview videos too. Swarm Hosts are fun.

I wanna say though one thing i dont understand as T is how im supposed to balance my mech composition in TvP. Makes no sense to me t.t

what i found really interesting how warhound totaly destroys archons and zealots. I had like 80pop warhound beat 150pop archon zeal with a move . Big warhound colision model, big single target damage and huge hp pool totaly counters zealots, it works something like roaches, except you dont even need to kite with them, but you could. i totaly see warhound/helion/marauder/medivac/viking composition destroying every toss in tvp(you could add couple of ghost for added awesomes). Warhound are abit op, and really are what vikings should have been when you landed them(they even cost them). If they just buffed viking vs ground and made it stronger, there really wouldnt be a need for warhound(as on the ground according to blizzard they are both durable walker mech), vikings pretty much loses vs everything on ground atm.

you just need Warhound\battlehellion\viking, and GG everything toss throws to you , do not need to disturb marauder

sounds like music to my ears. The terran deathball, can't wait!

Update a new patch called 1.03 and add map rotation with version 1.4 with bug fixed like burrow recharge when buried , and preordian after 15-20 seconds should not show same units that you did for 10 seconds again if you dont do same unit again . But it still show same unit after 15 seconds with no unit in process , within the produce.

Terran players are going to have to get used to people calling their race imba once again, because terran mech seems to wipe the floor with protoss mid and late game. My biggest annoyance with it is that widow mines hit air, so I can't try and drop more than once without knowing a mine will attatch to my warp prism on the way to a terran base and insta kill it. Maybe I just don't know the future meta game yet, or maybe Blizzard just messed up here.
I wouldn't mind the new super charged terran deathball being so strong in direct engagements if protoss air had more power behind it (The new units are niche units that don't help that much in big engagements) and if we could manouver around the battlefield well without having to stop every second or so to clear a mine. I just don't see any weaknesses within terran mech vs protoss simply due to protoss air being so bad. Fortunatly zerg players can beat it with broodlords in late game as the new mech has weak anti air capabilities.

1st Xenox : Fix the bug about burrow recharge at ultralisk charge , at the moment they dont recharge if you burrow after charging (charge) they should recharge according to johnnyZerg , he told me that. But he doesnt have evidence for that should be true that ultralisk is gonna recharge at burrow , (like no last battle report or other sites).
Recharge or not recharge when burrow? help me here what is true?
LOL for 2nd to everyone . Temepest is good , use the long range upgrade and go long range with your tempest and shoot down marine , and other units that is supported to shoot air units.
For example : So they can be good at marines and hydra , on very long range, and tempest + observer is even more good to swarm host , "poff" dead swarm host in one shot if I remember right from battle reports.
