New patch up! At this point I think apart from a few bugs (most of which dont affect the gameplay) the map is essentially complete. The biggest things in this patch are that the final ability Preordain now works on Hatcheries and phase shift has been reworked to work in PvP and 2v2s.
Patch Notes 0.88 - Phase Shift reworked to now work in PvP and 2v2's - Preordain now updated to work on hatcheries (working as intended but might be imbalanced, will change if so) - Battle Hellions are no longer Light or Armored just Mechanical - Battle Hellions move speed reduced to 2 (more accurate, actually a buff) - Entomb AoE reverted to 5 thanks to further information - Battle Hellion AoE increased to 1.5 - Warhound Attack Speed Decreased to 1.5 (this is accurate)
Also I'll be updating EU with this patch soon.

I think this is a really cool idea, and just further shows the power of the map editor. Good job, I will test this map next time I see my custom map ally online

Why does Phase Shift only work in PvP and 2v2? I understand Arc Shield being changed, but why continue to make balance patches? We should play it how it is so Blizzard sees what's up.
Maybe remove the stupid tech block out component of the spell and make only the building disruption web thing work.

If you replicated a colossus wouldn't it come with the range upgrade??

Had a 3/3 Mech army against a 1/1 Zealot/Stalker + 3 Tempest where i was at 200 supply and he was at around 160.
He attacks me while sieged and still wins =/. Our Army values where about the same, but still mech felt much stronger in BW ^^
Honestly thinks the warhound seems a little weak for it's cost.
Haven't tested the shredder enough though, it's a little tricky .
How does battle-hellions fair straight up against Zealots btw? couldn't really tell in the battle, although the zealots managed to churn my force down =/
EDIT: Is their anywhere i can download this?! When i log onto battle net on the SC2 Editor it doesn't have any of the maps T_T Want to test out how different unit mixes fair against eachother....

can something be done about arc shield or has that already been dealt with? I know you aren't trying to balance this mod since it's what was shown at blizzcon, but for the sake of fighting against protoss, just fricking nerf that shit.
either 1.) arc shield available after cyber or 2.) can't be cast on assimilators/pylons
It's ruining any match up I play against protoss now, they just seem to think it's hilarious to arc rush without trying any new units.

No no it still works in all the other matchups and 1v1, it just now also works in PvP and 2v2.

While I very much appreciate the enormous amount of effort going into this project I have to ask why are you deviating from the known stats of the units. As far as I know blizz hasnt announced any changes to the units shown at blizzcon so why are things like the tempest's rate of fire changed to be faster and the swarm host's spawn every 30 seconds instead of 15.
I can appreciate trying to balance the game in your own customs but do you think you could have a set of maps where the stats are going to be the same as used in the initial beta? Id rather not get to comfortable or distant with some of the units if their stats are going to be dramatically different once teh beta is open.
As negative as this comment is I really also want to just add how thankful I am for all of your efforts. I cant begin to imagine the amount of time and dedication youve given to this so thank you very much.

fuck it, I think he should balance it because it's going to be changed anyways. Might as well see how it would turn out if it was community balanced. There are clearly things that need to change and I commend the creator for attempting this mod, if he thinks things should change (which they should) then power to him, it's his project.
While I agree that it's interesting to see the blizzcon HotS, I can't say that it's very fun with the amount of bullshit in it. Maybe we can get a blizzcon version and a community balanced version?
But you shouldn't be using this mod as a way to practice for HotS because it's ALL going to change in the beta. Even if you managed to practice 1000 build orders and got something perfect, the beta will change constantly and those build orders will be ruined one way or the other. So don't get too worked up about it or believe that this mod should be a perfect representation of blizzcon hots because it's not worth practicing for just yet.

I'm not sure about some of the balance changes he's made, like the swarm host being that slow doesn't seem good, maybe it wasn't intended? But, for example the change to arc shield to not target assimilators is just needed, so taking some liberties is not bad in my opinion.
