Rotational symmetry 4p maps are quite a bit easier to make symmetrical as you've got a little bit more space to work with. Often in reflection designs, you'll have to put half of a single element right on the axis of symmetry (for example, the high ground expansions around the middle on this map). I think there's simply less possible permutations and combinations that you could get out of reflection symmetry desgins, but discovering one that is good, unique and then turning that into a playable map is a challenge in itself
