Map size: 250 / 250
Description: Epic

Made this myself. Borrowing heavily from Match point and using the Korhal textures to be more city park themed. It has 4 gold expansions and a defendable natural with multiple entrances and wide areas depending on where you decide to expand or push.

No watchtowers yet or destructible rocks. Notice the frikken texture details i have literally been gently doodading and texturing the entire 250 / 250 map and its pretty awesome once you get to see the details.

Only thing i might change is add two more side expansions and maybe a tower or two but i don’t know where so a comment related to that would be nice.

This map is probably my best map yet, but the best part is they will always be up to date and polished with any sort of sensible feedback I will eventually get should people choose to play it.

Backstory: Welcome to Korhal, please take a moment to admire the statues of emperor Mensk with his loyal dogs forever at his side. Do stop by the Emperor Mensk shop buy your Mensk gauss rifles and watch as the current gladiators of the day fight against captured rebels, Protoss deviants and mind controlled Zerg or each others.

kinda too late now, but you should post in sc2 forum.

Map seems pretty decent but the gold bases are next to useless and the map is pretty boring/plain looking. Lot of wasted open space and hard lines/edges.

but yea i guess i can add another set of doodads and claim that its still a work in progress. ;D

Because of the texture set being rectangles and manmade why not make it symmetric, the textures are not meant to blend into each others, if that was what you meant.

Perhaps make the golds a bit farther apart? I could see Terran just holding center very easily. Metalopolis has "close" Golds but the distance is actually farther apart, both players can take a gold each and there's still quite some territory to fight for between them. If both players were to take a gold on this map it'd make center very suffocating I think

(although I may be underestimating the width of the center bridge).

Otherwise, I really like the map. Reminds me of Eden in FF13 with the structures and grass etc.

I like this a lot. The golds do seem more like the center expo on Andromeda (say) - take if you're already winning. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you.
