I didn't watch the Grand Final just because Boxer wasn't in it.
But to be honest watching that many TvT was boring even if it's probably my 3rd favourite match up after PvT and PvZ.

If the overall number of viewers dropped somewhere during the top 8 it might have very well been coincidence. Remember it was around 01:00-03:00 AM in Europe(depending on when one lives) when the finals started on Monday at the time. Personally I went to sleep after DRG got taken out in the loser's bracket. Given that the later stages of most tournaments have had a lot of TvT lately I'd rather have some sleep. Especially after seeing Boxer vs. Rain game 1.

I really wanted the foreigners to finally rise up and beat the Koreans, but even so, I'd much rather watch the best players regardless of nationality. Maybe next time!

It didn't bother me but it would be a nice change for a foreigner to get into the finals of a tournament in north america versus a korea

I don't know why it being Korean vs Korean would affect it at all :S. I watched because they are amazing players.

terran vs terran kinda sucks. I guess u always see the best race most frequently anyways.

I stopped caring once Boxer was eliminated. If the final match had a foreigner in it I would have been interested but it did not so I just skipped the match.

To be honest it had more to do with the fact that there were like 4(?) Korean terrans. So it was more like the korean domination and not terran domination. If you invite Nestea, DRG, Losira and July i can almost guarantee a ZvZ final

I thought it was a little annoying with all the koreans. I dont mind too much, but a HuK vs IdrA final would've been better.

Its not the Korean matter, but the number of TvT games that kinda caused a decline in interest for me.

Affect your interest and only want to see the best could mean the same thing.^^

We should be honored that the Koreans came all the way over here to play.

I'm surprised people say that Koreans have no "storyline."

very bad poll imo, "affect your interest" can be positive and the opposite of it.

I'm definetly affected by it in a negative way

It definitely affected my interest. A foreigner vs korean finals would have been far more interesting. The amount of TvTs was pretty boring as well, especially since everyone started to use a ton of blue flame hellions and ended up trading SCVs and never getting a proper economy up.

The organizers obviously can't control who goes to the finals, but inviting so many high level korean Terrans (most of them former champions) and only 1-2 mid level Zergs and Protoss (mostly code A and no code players) was pretty bad.

i tuned out after drg lost to mvp for four reasons:

1 - it being on the west coast meant it was hugely late already
2 - all protoss out by that stage and just the one zerg left
3 - while tvt is the most watchable mirror, it's still a mirror
4 - i don't care about these players apart from boxer and to a lesser extent mvp for his stars connections, as i don't watch gsl

I don't want to cause a good old shitfight, so I will keep it brief.

I simply fear for "foreigner" pros, because the Koreans coming here makes it harder for them to put food on the table, which takes away the legitimacy for those people in NA considering the possibility of making pro gaming their career.

TvT was an issue too, albeit smaller. I really enjoyed watching DRG, however even if he made it to the final, the pain would have only been dulled a little.

Turned out after DRG lost to MMA, it was late night here already and with only TvT left was not worth staying.

A little bit. But it isn't just because it was korean vs korean. If it was random American vs random European I wouldn't have cared any more either, what I did miss from the ro6 and onward was some of my favorite players that I like to watch, and therefore I wasn't as interested in the final games.

Boxers series had me glued to the screen though.
