I want to see the best players regardless of nationality. I would like to see a foreigner win the next MLG event though!

I think the exchange program should bring more balance of races that they invite. Because lets face it, the chances of the top 6 being mostly Korean (especially a strong chance of all the invites being there) is pretty high.

This MLG the invited players were MMA, MvP, Boxer, and DRG. 3 Terrans and one Zerg. If they are inviting players obviously there has to be atleast 2 of one of the races, but I think if they had atleast one of each that would be really nice. The Koreans aside, protoss was under-represented this MLG, but I wish they had atleast brought 1 Toss out of the invites.

The players who came themselves aren't really a problem, it just happened that Ganzi/Rain both happen to be Terran and both happened to do very well this tournament.

I still don't like so many mirror matchups. But then again, Boxer vs. Rain seriously kicked ass.

Although TvT is probably my favorite mirror match to watch, mirror matches in general are probably the most boring to watch. So just the shear number of them made it less enjoyable.

yea, a lot. it effected it positively, because unless there's a foreigner good enough to beat koreans, they shouldn't be in the finals. they don't deserve it.

While I don't think anything should be done to change it, I did lose interest. If I want to see koreans vs koreans, I prefer to watch the GSL, where their best go up against each other. Now it felt just like a GSL mini tournament, with a limited amount of players.

I also like watching MLG for the personality of players, in which the koreans kind of stumble (except for MC maybe), imo. Had the same thing with Assembly a bit. In Huk vs Mana, Huk's player cam had him show emotion, while Mana sat their stonefaced, hardly moving at all. I understand it's not really important for the quality of games, but it does affect my interest.

I would have enjoyed it more if the foreigners would have kicked Korean ass. But I wouldn't have watched it without the Koreans. Like I didn't watch IEM/Blizz EU invite and I am from Europe.

I enjoyed it but I like to see how the best and upcoming of the NA/European players are doing. Its hard to do that when they get knocked out by Koreans in what is turning into a GSL satellite tournament without the best Koreans.

Having said that the more koreans they play the better they will become so it will help them catch up. Reducing the entrys isnt an answer.
