the tvts can be a little boring, but both players seriously displayed insane skillz. for the first 7-10 min of the game they the exact food count. zero macro slips. amazing.

the whole group thing bothered me... i felt like all these games were played, but in the end it was still the top 4 from the groups that we were watching in the last 5 rounds. I was bored of those players by then. but i guess some of it is my fault for missing some of the earlier play.

No wait, because the streams focused on the Top half of the championship bracket, we ended up seeing the SAME players play all day, even though 90% of the players were playing cool games off stream. so by the end i was really tired of those players... I barely saw any of some players, even though they played good games.
idk whatever. it was mostly the fact that it was TvTs for me.

I personally lost some interest after all other races were eliminated from the event. I love watching all The races and match ups but i was disappointed in the lack of diversity towards the top. First the GSL up and downs were dominated by the Terrans followed up by the MLG massacre. It hurts me to say this as a Zerg but maybe the Protoss do need a little bit of a buff just to keep the Terrans on their toes.

Toss Buff and a Blue Flame Nerf may be in order.

Loved the amount of TvTs, but then it is my favourite matchup. If a tournament had nothing but 16 top tier terrans, I'd pay money to watch it.

This tournament really made me want to race change.

Not to Terran, to Korean. Tvt's were blehhhhhhhhhhh, but def still watchable

I can only assume that this poll was made because viewership dropped towards the end of the tournament (I don't know if it actually did, correct me if I'm wrong), but keep in mind that many europeans watch MLG and that the finals were played at 4am CET, I'm sure many simply cannot stay up that long so naturally the viewership will drop off at some point. DRG vs MVP ended around 12am, I'd guess after that there would be a steady decline.

I was tired out by all the TvTs, but did watch the finals. It would've been nice to see some of the other races (specifically protoss :D)

The story of mlg this time was how well boxer did, I was quite happy to see him top the group and finally get third, especially after he was written off by so many people.

My internet speed limit was the main thing that annoyed me the most this weekend

After watching Boxer's hour long TvT match and DRG lose. I just was so sick of watching T's open with the same if not exact BO for to many games in a row. Then realizing that it was all T games after DRG lost i just turned it off.

Don't get why everyone cares so much about the nationality. If you love Starcraft, you'll be interested in good games from good players, wherever they're from. Sure, the fact that most were TvTs might have drove away some people, but I personally play T and the matches were damn good, so I didn't really mind, watched the stream till the grand finals.

DRG, MMA, MVP and Boxer are the only reasons I even followed the tournament as much as I did and stayed up past 05:00 in the first place. I've pretty much given up on following foreigners. They need to practice better or get out. Simple as that. Huk is decent of course, but he's always at every tournament so it's not as special of an occasion. I usually just catch his vods later.

TvT usually affects my interest, but not when it concerns the absolute highest level of play.

Definitely the TvTs.
As a Zerg player I obviously like matches involving my race most, but I also don't mind the other 3 MUs as long as it isn't 20 or so of the same MU in a row.
TvT is actually my least favourite matchup at the moment, slow positioning battles are simply not as interesting to me as micro battles (there are ofc always exceptional games, but I'm talking about the large mass here). Also, with the current over-representation of Terran in tournaments I've probably seen way too much

One of the reasons there may have been a drop (if there was) was because the time was really bad for viewers like me in EU being at like 4 AM. I know quite a few people who wanted to watch it but couldn't due to time.

I was only sad that mvp won it over Boxer and MMA.

Nothing to do with nationality though.
