I would say once a year makes it worth that much more. Like many others have said, if it happens too many times per year it doesn't make it as ... sweet

2 per year imo, like an osl. One in summer, one in winter. Perhaps shift it a bit so that the TSL takes place a bit more in the dead time between mlgs, NASL and IPL.

A lot of people seem to be saying less often is better because of prestige or whatever.

There's still the same world class players competing so I don't see how winning a tournament that happens annually rather than twice a year or even more often makes it any more or less of a feat.

Besides, WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT TO WATCH MORE STARCRAFT, PEOPLE?! Come on now lol. The TSL makes weekends more enjoyable. Is a bit of prestige really worth it? IMO definitely not. You, the viewers, aren't even the ones that would gain the prestige anyway, so who (other than the players) gives a shit? And if you do then maybe ask yourself why? I'm not even sure if any of the players competing in the TSL would care about the prestige aspect. Wouldn't they want more oppourtunities to compete in such a great tournament?

How often are they usually held? Personally I loved the "OMFG TSL OMFG OMFG" that came with the TSL3 announcement. I wouldn't really like it to be held too often.

Once a year sounds pretty good to me. ^^

i voted "DO IT NAOW!" but once or twice a year seems fine too!

the best part about the TSL is that it never collides with the other tournaments, because you guys match the individual players schedules so well =D (apart from having created the best matches sc2 has seen so far <.<)

i would say, get to work XD, but let me practice over the summer to join a TL Open and get my ass handed to me!

I voted "wait a lil bit" for this reason:

The TSL for me is something bigger than a regular standart tournament. Therefor the winners to me are bigger than the winners of a weekly online cup.

I agree with this. Part of what makes TSL epic is that they're few and far between.

A monthly TL Open wouldn't be bad though.

I voted start now, but that's only because the qualifiers take a pretty long time. If you start now (and take it a bit slow) the tournament will be in 3 months or something, which is perfect imo. I don't want it every month, but 2 times a year sounds fun (maybe 3, but I think 2 is better).

dont start spamming tsl plz. sure the sc2 scene is exploding....but tsl is a very special thing, which should stay special, and something that apears every few month isnt that special anymore...so plz let me enjoy tsl like christmas....like it is right now....u wait all year for it....and then suddenly u have the best time in the whole friggin year....and its such a nice feeling...why spam christmas?

I think "Wait a bit" makes sense as to make it more special.
You dont give your kids ice cream every day because they get used to it and all of a sudden it's nothing special anymore.

Once a year is good, that way I see it as the highlight of the year! Something special. If it happens to much I'm afraid it will lose that epic feeling and just become one of the plenty tournaments.

With qualifers and everything this one lasted a good six months? Maybe do some extra qualifiers, increase players or change format to accommodate more players.

For me TSL is like Olympics, awesome and the highlight
