It was tough to give Flash #1 this past month (Plexa has balls, Ill give him that), but now we're just robbing Jaedong of a well-deserved #1 spot. Even though the sample games are small but Junes and Julys games show that Jaedong has posted better results. Hold on a second. For new readers, we're not arguing that because of games 3 months ago any player should be #1 or #2.... To clarify: The debate started with a statement that Jaedong should be #1 because he's been playing better lately, and someone said that he's been playing better than flash for 3 months. So we started a discussion about that.Feel free to post your oppinion but stop assuming things without knowing where the discussion started. Ah my mistake. Sorry about that.

No problem, you're not the first one thats why I had to post that

You know what? Let's just end all this talk because JD and Flash are both fucking newbs with zero skill.
NaDa rapes them both while sleeping. Boxer can beat them while wearing a blindfold. And Savior will only lose to them if he decides to throw the game to make extra money.
Power Rank #1 = money.

Power Rank #1 = money. But we dont want savior for first....

....not even sure how to respond to that comment.

Good to see TL's standards for the best player for their monthly PR are so low. In addition, Flash has barely played at all this month, and with Plexa's analysis, Flash will surely be #1 again...

Jaedong now has all time vZ and vP peak. And his ZvP is atm the most dominant (ELO wise) matchup.
As long as he doesnt drop out of OSL/MSL he fully deserves #1.

ZvP is too broken to be relevant.
What matters is that Jaedong is also destroying terrans and zergs left and right again over the last two months

Jaedong and Flash both won. Jaedong kind of came back against Kal, but is still ungodly. Flash defended cheese superbly. Violet played fail.

JD played awfully sloppy except for 15 seconds of pure genius. I am pretty sure Kal crapped his pants the moment he saw the orange fog of death drift in all the way into his main.
I don't see how Flash comes out of this match looking bad, no matter what the result. If he lost, it would have been to a team-mate cheesing him. Statistically, that's the best circumstances for a cheese to be a success. And if he lost, it really wouldn't have shown him in a bad light at all. And since he won, he looks dominant in shutting down the cheese anyway.

There's an S-Class PvZ in town again, which should bring balance to the matchup.

I thought coming back from behind in a moment of brilliance was trademark Bonjwa style dominance.

Really? I'm having a hard time thinking of a toss(except Bisu & maybe free) who has clearly over 50% win rate against Zerg over the last year or so. On the other hand I believe that most of the zerg players have a positive win rate against toss.
On top I think Bisu is the only one having a positive win rate against top zergs(not even sure, considering his slump). Maybe Stork too, but he's known to perform exceptionally well against the top Zergs and pretty mediocre against most other Zergs.
Note: I think I need to stress this to prevent wrong responses. I'm talking about the last 12-14months or so, NOT career wins.

Bisu, free, Movie, Stork (?), and Jangbi off the top of my head. Even if Stork doesn't have a 50% win rate against Zergs in the last 12 months he has a winning record vs Jaedong.

JangBi is barely barely over 50%. But anyways, my point was simply that ZvP is imho a matchup with a clear tendency as to which race seems to have an easier time beating the other, be it because of the map pool or whatever.

Just like TvZ has as well, they kind of balance each other out. Only Protoss doesn't have an imba matchup they can own in.

I guess you haven't been watching too many games lately to say such a thing :O.

I thought: "Gee, this should be easy to test."
ZvP over the last year.
Bisu: 23 wins - 8 losses (74.19%)
Stork: 22 wins - 14 losses (61.11%) (Didn't expect that, did you?)
Movie: 22 wins - 15 losses (59.46%)
free: 16 wins - 12 losses (57.14%)
Kal: 25 wins - 23 losses (52.08%) (Twelve of these losses have come from Jaedong or EffOrt, as he's gone 0-12 against them this last year. Bisu's stats come after facing Jaedong only once, and EffOrt not at all. Poor Kal, I think his ZvP is better than this.)
JangBi: 17 wins - 16 losses (51.52%)
And then we have young players like Stats, Violet, and Snow who are all .500 or above in the match-up.
So ZvP, while being Z favored, and at times, (due to the maps) more-so or less so, still retains enough of a balance that a good protoss will always beat a bad zerg, and that even the top protoss players can beat zergs consistently.
