Stork will never ever win a title. He has been blacklisted by the broodwar gods for his lack of manner and lack of respect for BW heros.
Did he just BM Kingdom? What the heck, when FBH did it to sAviOr I found it a bit nice, but when Stork was running around like an idiot even on the SKT1 side, it was pure disrespect.
Oh yeah, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't our Terran Emperor name Stork as such? I think our Omniscient Emperor saw the disrespect that this gamer would bring to the progaming world and He cursed the name Stork to never win any Gold.
Stork will beat Best and continue to win this OSL in order to reclaim his title of PvP king and finally fulfill his destiny as a starcraft god..... as predicted by THE EMPEROR himself.
the predictions itself are as sharp as the writeup for the last osl final of best vs july and we know what happened...and guess who wrote those too?! kinda like a best fan...
face it: 2 perfect players against each other and therefor, anything can happen!
I for my part think that stork will take this and prove that once again, predictions of tl most of the time totally fail! a clean streak is always coming to an end.
Best ftw... he crushes his opponents w. unending units... it's like once u r hit u can nvr come bak cus he'll keep pounding on u w/ his massive unit flow and there's nothing u'll be able to do about
"Even against Bisu, Stork's relentless Observer use and planning skills shone through. In the Chupung-Ryeong game Stork had Bisu's base crawling with Observers and was able to exploit all the weaknesses of Bisu's base to get himself back into the match. He was also able to counter with perfect timing and perfect unit count after he lost his natural because he knew exactly what Bisu was up to."
You forgot to mention that actually Bisu threw a shuttle with 2 reavers, for absoulutely no reason. It wasnt Stork's incredible micro/scouting. (Bisu knew Stork's army is around there, he probably misclicked or he was preocupied with macro but he decided to move with the shuttle when he hadnt time for that) And let's not forget Bisu attacked uphill twice. Maybe it's just me, but Stork did not won that match, Bisu lost it. (ok against a less good player he might have won even with this mistakes, but a decent PvP player would have taken him down too).
And if you saw the game against Kal... ok, let's forget it, maybe he felt sick that day, or his hand was hurt, or something. It was only a game... But still... 4 reavers for nothing is a bit too much.
I dont say it's impossible for Stork to win. After all estro beat SKT1... almost everything is possible in pro starcraft
Nice writeup! I like the contrast between "light" and "dark" styles of Protoss. Really don't know who to root for, though I agree the numbers favor Best.
