So happy it covered the Huk situation in such detail too. It's a really interesting part of the liquid history.

There are so many options but those interviews one after another was anything but creative.

If someone wants to know what eSports and SC2 is about then Liquid Rising will not help them. But that's not what they were trying to accomplish with that film. And tbh, how many eSport fans would have fun when we get explained how Starcraft works and why Koreans are stomping the rest of the world. But if i want to hear about Team Liquid, how they are and what Team Liquid is about, then Liquid Rising is a good choice. Of course they are missing some things, so if i wasn't a huge TL fan i wouldn't even know what race everyone is playing. But still, i would like to hear more about things the Team Liquid players have accomplished, and some impressice results. But i don't think that this is film for people that aren't familiar with SC2 and TL, this is a film for us. We know who they are, but i didn't know that much about all of them, so i enjoyed watching it, and that's what is most important at the end of the day, i had a good time with it. I think that many people expected a Documentary about SC2 and eSports, which they could show to their friends and say "Watch that, that is why i love eSports". I would like a film like that too, something that gets more people into eSports and SC2, but i can't imagine that a single team could do that. If a football team produces a documentary nobody would expect to hear about football rules or what football is all about. You would expect to hear about the club legends, some results, the fans and the current team. By football i mean soccer, but it also works for american football, baseball, basketball, icehocky etc. Oh and btw. Hero seems kinda focused on looks, that's the first thing he mentions about every single teammate ^^

I just hope they still have some posters in two weeks when I actually have money to contribute. I was going to contribute regardless but I would really like one of those sick, sick movie posters and the 3S <3

The people living in the HQ etc. I know it focused on the players, so it probably wouldn't have really fit. But it would be neat. Yeah, I wouldn't mind being it 20 minute longer if it showed more team info other than Victor & the players. Even if it was more about their training schedules and living in Korean pro house, I think that's interesting. I can understand if you intended it to be like this but those are the things I would have changed if I was the one doing the film. The music was really too loud compared to the rest. Good thing it was better than in the trailer ![]() Besides that it felt somehow empty. The TL history at the start was cool, so were the cartoons later but I missed some background history info on each player. The interviews mentioned few things but short summary would be really helpful. One thing really missing from the documentary is name titles for the interviewed people or even the highlighted events (it would be cool to have some time frame idea when and what's happening). I mean I've been following SC2 for a year so I know most of those people, which player is who and maybe can guess some places but that requires quite a lot of previous coverage from any eSport fan. To make it more publicly accessible and not confusing to others besides the TL fans, it really needs some clues. In the end, interesting facts, good stories and optimistic future, I like it overall even if it feels unfinished.
