My favorite E-sports type documentary to date is still the Grubby one. I think more people should do that kind of backstory type thing. Kinda like Sheth in this one.

I would like a film like that too, something that gets more people into eSports and SC2, but i can't imagine that a single team could do that. I didn't expect to be that general but it should be accessible to any SC2 fan, especially if they came into SC2 only few months ago or they are fans of other teams and want to know more or just aren't that hardcore to follow everything to the detail. I see great potential to improve the documentary a bit and get it much more appealing to broader audience which (besides more money from viewer) should be goal of any documentary like that.

It feels like a waste. I know it's free but they have hundreds of hours of footage?

I was already a fan of a lot of Liquid players, but now I'm a fan of all of them and an even bigger fan of the ones I loved before. Everyone seems to have a strong personality and a place on the team and something to contribute. It all looked really professional and good quality, you learned a lot more about the players and their journey as well as the journey of Team Liquid itself. It couldn't have really been any better or accomplished the same goal any other way. I find Haypro hilarious, Sheth warm and kind, TLO funny and quirky, Ret the brilliant but lazy guy, Hero feels he has something to prove, Jinro much the same, and the HuK a deeply flawed person - but in a good way. Taeja and Zenio the top Korean talent, and NoNy the experienced guy facing tougher challenges. And Nazgul keeping it all together. It was informative, emotional and entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyable. Well done TeamLiquid, this can only be a good thing. EDIT: It seems to me a lot of people were expecting an overly dramatic cinematic drama-fest detailing every player's inner struggles or something? I much prefer this, it's a lot more grounded without being sensationalist. I think there were some unreasonable expectations for this from what I'm reading.

clearly i see this route advantageous, how can i "pay what i want" when im not aware of the quality of the product. i wont torrent it if the guys at liquid have a problem with it, i support you guys enough to respect your wishes. please return with a reply ![]() edit: apparently you can already watch for free. perhaps i missed something, but is there no download for this? i dont feel like streaming a video over youtube, especially not if im expected to pay. if the movie is of high quality, the production is well, and i can get a proper .avi to download, i'll most likely pay. however i will never pay to stream something. if i pay, i want it in high quality, on my hdd.

It feels like a waste. I know it's free but they have hundreds of hours of footage? I think that's it. Others said that it's already targeted at the TL fans but at the same time it doesn't go into much detail. It feels like, here you have 90 minutes, 10 players and try to give some time to every one of them, get opinion from every other guy and boom that's it for this segment, next one. Maybe it should be done in more parts so we can learn more about player's history, personal stuff and the team itself. There is a bit about TLO's beard but it's not entirely explained. I'm sure you guys have a lot of material that could be used for two or more parts.
