i feel like i can echo this alot.

i enjoyed the movie, but as someone seriously follows starcraft, there wasnt much here. the story of TLO getting his handle was great as well the Hotbid slapping story. but Fishuu's art made up a good portion of that as well. but other than that, not much. in truth, i enjoyed listening to Nazghoul talk the most because it was new and insightful, and coming from someone we dont actually hear talk ever.

the four main things i took away from this;

1: Nazghoul is probably the most interesting and underrated person in e-sports

2: This movie reminded why i enjoyed TL as a team, and forgot about the growing shortcomings of the community

3: Hero talks painfully slow. seriously one line of subtitles would take 15-20 seconds. i wanted to just fast forward ahead everytime he came on because i would read the subtitles before his face would appear on screen half the time.

4: just dont really like TLO

overall, a good movie, but i doubt i need to watch it again.



Did I read number 4 right? How could anyone NOT like TLO. He's probably the most likeable person in E-sports!

Edit: Aside from Day9 of course.

i dunno, just something about him strikes me as insanely snobbish. just cant get around it.

like, it was cool when he was talking about his childhood, but when he talks about other teams and stuff. just dont like it. reminds me of a child who has it good but doesnt exactly know how the world works.

i dunno, it seems kinda irrational, but thats just the vibe i get.

Really really loved the documentary! A lot of really amazing moments, best one will still be HerO winning Dreamhack, just so amazing and special to me!

I feel like they spent too much time fine tuning and not providing enough content. A lot of the stuff was a bit outdated (given they need time to edit), but there was simply not enough timeless content.

It was great! A bit different than I had imagined. Watched it and it kept me focused on the movie much better than most things I watch, where I often you know, tab around some. So that at least tells me alot that it was a good production.

I can't help but feel that we are spoiled with long good interviews with our favourites quite often, still this made me feel, as someone before in this thread wrote, that we get to realize how behind every player and persona there is a real person. I think above all tho, Nazgul comes off really well. He is for sure one of the msot interesting people in esports.

As a speaker of swedish, it was both really weird, but also really fun hering Jinro and Haypro chat. Again making me realize that they are, in fact, real.

I am left with a feeling of wanting more. Hope for more documentaries of ESPORTS, and I know I will rewatch some of this one! (Gotta love the pricing model. I feel like Nazgul, TL.net, a lot of epsorts, really are with their time. Time and time again they do things just so RIGHT. It is amazing to see. In a buisness like this so close connected to the fans/audience/community/itself, and so living on the internet... It makes me happy.)

This whole thing was fantastic to watch. Really unique and inspiring. I only managed to donate $5 but I wish I could do more. Regardless, it's definitely worth it and there was a ton of effort put into this. I especially liked the interviews with Nazgul, which were kind of enlightening.
