The part on HerO is somehow hard but in some way right. You can discuss why his performance and overall showing at HSC wasn't that well as any of his fans or TL-Fans may have hoped.

On my side of this (huge fan of him) i'm rly sad but not disappointed. Going out of the tournament so early wasn't good, but what bothered me more was the fact that he didn't show up to give some autographs or take some photos. I've been there on friday and saturday and only saw him for seconds as he was leaving the place with the other koreans to take a break from the flat. i took my chance as they retourned just to get the worst photo ever taken by me (thanks to the photographer who didn't know my cam at this moment). so that was my overall experience of meeting my favourite player i didn't even have the chance to let him sign my mousepad because at this moment i just didn't want him to wait outside of the pub for me to grab it from the inside ... who knew that in the end this whould've been my only chance?

Still <3 u Hyeondeok! more play less travel and you'll be Code S Champ.

-> pictures i took on HSC:

you can take these pics wherever u want (reupload etc.) - just wanted to share

I listened to the podcast...ClouD is awesome. I no longer have the dream of being a progamer, but I respect those who do.

Drunk Stephano can be quite intimidating... in an out of control, "I think he might chew off my shins" kind of way.

Would be pretty great to have more of these types of events, but it really is a very unique and special event.

Grubby is way to good of player to switch to caster imo! He will be THE top foreigner this year so no reason for him to switch anyway. Also he showed himself before but he just had so much bad luck like being kicked out 2-1 in dreamhack groups and stuf flike that.. and yes, im a fanboy!
i came i saw i conquered

My Winners of the HSC:
MC - obvious
Goody + Cloud - both of them took 2 games off koreans. Goody nearly made it out of his group with 2 top level koreans in it.
Nerchio - best foreign player this HSC and winning EVERY bo3 until running into MC.
Naama playing on ladder with MoMaN casting - most entertaining thing since... don't remember :D
And ofc the viewers.

You got me with this one LOL! :D

To Hero's performance: It may be disappointing to those, who just did follow his way since dreamhack, but in my oppinion he got massively overhyped after his thin dreamhack win over Puma. He did perform well there, yes, but he was hyped up to be the best protoss in the world afterwards. And that was way too much. So it's also way too much to call him the only loser of HSC4. Yes he underperformed a little bit. But he took his Ro32 group convincingly and barely lost in a very strong Ro16 group. He might have the claim to reach Ro8 at least in this tournament, but that's not how SC2 works. This game has an affinity to upsets, and those things will happen all the time. (look at Supernova in his recent Code S group).
I would call him a clear loser if he had gone out 0-3 on the first day, but that did not happen. So don't be too harsch on the kid, He is talented, but still needs to improve. He is not on the highest level yet, so he can definately lose to one of the best Zergs in Europe Nerchio and the very very good ZvPer violet. No real shame on that!

There is nothing wrong with HerO as skill, his multi tasking belong to the best in the world also his map awarenes and reaction time is scary to see. It's a mental thing HerO does not look confident, infact i'd say he thinks very little ofhimself as a progamer. Honestly he should learn something from MC in that way, confidence just a blind faith in your self.
Mentalproblems is all that there is in holding HerO back, hope it will get better with more time in the spotlight.

I really think real will be bigger soon... for him it was a great chance to make him a name and he gained some good feelings of beeing in the round of 8 ... Think he is one of the clear winner...

ClouD is ok as a caster but he should just shut up and let the other casters talk once in a while

Also Ret is in Destiny's thumb.

Imho JYP is definitly among the winners of the tourney. He introduced himself as an EG member by showing two of the best series in the tournament ( against MC and Dimaga) only loosing to MC and taking third place and a good chunk of price money.

Definitly a very good showing as far as I'm concerned.

I would add Thorzain to the losers. I mean he lost to Incontrol :/

Also he seems to be on some kind of mental slump lately.

HOWEVER, the nation had to suffer the shame of having a Barcraft broadcast from an Irish

It isnt as bad as you might think. I can say that we love bars / pubs as long as there is a good atmosphere / drinks :D

Why the Incontrol hate? He did great over the weekend. There were quite a lot of matches I just watched because he was casting...

Nice read. I found the Dimaga cheering thing a little awkward and forced, since someone ran in behind him and was like, look it's Dimaga!!!

You were not in that room during the JYP game, so you have no idea.
