I wasn't even sure if I was going to go to these finals, just because none of my favorite players were attending. Or, well, playing, since they both actually showed up to cheer for their respective teammates. But then something happened: I got caught up in the hype. I was captivated by Jangbi's cinderella story, his amazing rise to the top after having fallen so far. Plus the Legend of the fall, silver curse, god I am a sucker for good stories. And so I decided to go at the last minute, and it was SO worth it. Easily one of the best nights I've had here in Seoul. The excitement, the suspense, the overwhelming joy we all felt when we realized victory was in Jangbi's grasp, chanting his name over and over while tears welled up in our eyes. I'll never forget that night. Thanks for the write up, for letting me relive it again ^^ also, lol soO. #1 inspirational story. | ||

Even though I'm not particularly his fan, I'm really glad Jangbi won this. The excitement around TeamLiquid and the loud cheering in the stadium was really electrifying as a fan of the game and I definitely got swept into the hype. Here's to more OSLs like this one! | ||

Just read the LR thread when Fantasy looked like he had the game in the bag to when Jangbi fought back. That emotion will NEVER appear in any Flash's 3-0 TvZs. It just won't. Because as fans we don't just want to see perfect play, we want to see storylines. And there hasn't been a storyline like Jangbi going from loser-king to a miraculous OSL run in the dark era of protoss in quite some time. That is why game 5 will go down in history. And no amount of bashing the execution of either player in the game will ever change that. | ||
